2013 Nationals Passage!

What will it "bee"???

This is a really good question. It really could be anything. One of my friends said maybe 2 and 3 John, but that seems a little short. Revelation 2-3? Same problem. Sermon on the Mount? Seems a little too comprehensive for one inductive study! :)

So, what do y'all think??

No, we don't know if it will be a passage or a book.

Maybe… That's what the Competition Rulebook says. That doesn't mean it CAN'T be a book, but it probably WON'T be a book, since the Rulebook changed that.

Usually Strong's concordance or something like that

Strong's concordance, study bibles…I've never actually done it..so ask Matthew or someone who's qualified :)

Find your own, and hope they're the right ones! :D

I don't understand

you pick out which Greek words you think are key, then look them up and find other verses that use the same words.

I use Zodhiates' Dictionary. It has an exhaustive reference to every time a Greek word in the Bible is used.

I would listen to John mcaurthurs sermons. I am listening to his 1 john ones and he mentions like almost all our memory verses and cross refs, and greek words

My guess is that the Nationals passage will be a few chapters from the book of John. It would make sense, since it's the same author.

John 14-17 maybe?

Yeah, I was thinking it would probably be a passage from the Gospel of John too. Because it's by the same author and they've always done books by the same author (not that they wouldn't do a book by a different author, but still), and 2 and 3 John together would still be really short, and Revelation would probably be too controversial…

Thanks. My Dad suggested that passage right away when we found out what the book was, and it seemed to make a lot of sense.

I'm thinking John 14-17 :D
