2014 Nationals

I will be a first-time Senior as well, and am not quite sure what I think about that… ;) I know it will be harder, but I am hoping that I will be able to meet the challenge. Hoping we both qualify this year! (Sounds so strange saying "this year" now! :) Did you know that we were three places apart from each other in our final placements for Nationals? I thought that was pretty cool. =)

Yes, I have eight siblings and am the third oldest, like you! :) I have seven brothers, and one sister - Christian and Nicolas are my older brothers; then there are 5 other boys, and Mercy is the youngest and my only sister. :) I met your sister, Joy, briefly before the Prelims for the Game Show, but never had the chance to meet Delie (though, I know her, of course! :).

I was a first-time Senior -this year- last year, and I didn't notice much of a difference, actually (besides the number of verses for Nats). I wasn't sure what to think of it, either. ;)

My brother George will still be a Junior this summer (he'll be 13). My brothers Samuel and Thomas (who will be 10 and 8) will both be Primaries. My other three brothers are too young.

Did anyone else notice that you can see past Nats contestants and winners on the BB site now? You can choose the year back to 2011 under the National Contestants page.

They did that last year too…glad to see it back! x)

Oh wow… I just found an old Glad album in our music, and it's bringing back memories like crazy… :P

I heard Glad's "You Put This Love in My Heart" this morning…and I couldn't help but remember the Opening Ceremony and all that!!! Gah…such great memories and I miss everyone!

I don't know why you think you look mad… You just have a face with a plain expression in the midst of a bunch of smiling people, so I suppose you look mad relative to them, but you really don't look mad. =P

It is so not what I normally look like, at least I don't think so… I really was happy, I just have no idea why I would have held that mouth position for so long…

Is that not your normal mouth position when you're not smiling? I sort of do the same thing. I may be happy on the inside, but I have no reason to be outright smiling or anything, so I just have a serious face. That's all I got out of your facial expression.

Oh. I thought it looked so pinched, I dunno, I guess. It just shocked me, because knowing myself, I assumed I would have been smiling up there. ;)

Oh well. I'm just glad the camera was on me. Because, if I remember correctly, my nose was very itchy, and I kept rubbing and scratching it when I was pretty sure I wasn't in view of the camera. XD
