2015 Bible Bee Sword Study Book!

"Bible Bee has revealed that locals is on August 8, and that as usual we shall receive our materials on June 1. That gives us 69 (or 68, if you don't count contest day) to study, or 9.(857142) weeks.
Generally, Bible Bee gives us some time between finishing the Sword Study and contest day. So perhaps we're facing a nine-week Sword Study. "

So it's really more like 10 weeks. Which means we could still have Philippians for locals :).

For instance, if they left out the last week of the Sword Study, which is usually just Day 10 Diagrams. (It seems, to me, that this isn't something Bible Bee would characteristically do, however.)
Yes, it's possible, but Bible Bee usually gives a good bit of breathing room before Contest Day. And even if they only cut out one day from their usual schedule, the last day of the Sword Study would have to be completed on Contest Day itself. :P
So yes, it's possible that they'll only make minor changes to their schedule, and do a longer book. But I think it seems much more likely that they'll either do a three-chapter book, or make changes to the system that are much more dramatic than the removal of a few days. :)

What makes you think that? Just curious.

Well, I don't think it's likely, but you know that SKF likes surprises and a long book would be a surprise :). At some point we'll run out of short books, so we'll have to do them sometime. No one was expecting Jonah ^except for one family we sort of know who looked at the SS cover and figured it out^ and no one is expecting a long book. Also it's important that we learn to study long books, too :).

Having said all that, I still don't think we'll have a book that is more than four chapters, I just think it's a possibly :).

My sister and I actually did try looking at the Sword Study cover last year… but somehow even a compass didn't bring Jonah to mind. :P

Oh, you mean how they figured out that it was Jonah? Well, on the BB E-store there was a picture of the SS, and they saw the compass and guessed Jonah. ^BTW, you know this family (it's not us, though!) :)^
