LOL! I didn't get all of that because I didn't get to go to Nats, but still. LOL! Oh and what was the score of the 69th person in the Junior division in 2010? I started Bible Bee in 2011. :)

Nicely done. Especially the waving the hands in the air part. Next year we should convince Ryan Sinni to lead a campaign against that!

In It Not Of It

Well they said no personal items allowed during g the test…..and I think ryan asked if stop watches were allowed. The proctor said no, Ryan said that they were allowed last year, and then the guy is like I don't know……who was here last year? Ninety nine percent of them raise their hands..

"Were they allowed last year?"
Everybody nods their head…..Lol
Well them I guess they're allowed. I think we were all goes he spoke up :)

Lol, that video was too funny :) I loved it.
I was just wondering though, how many of you did stay up until midnight on june 1st to open your Bible Bee box? :) I did!

Somebody else will have to lead it. Ryan won Seniors, so he's not allowed to compete anymore. I'd love to lead it if I'm at Nationals, though. It's a great idea!

Haha, didn't realize there was a thread for this when I posted about it in Social Chatting. =P

Fantastic job on this, Adams family! You pulled it off very well. I was reminded of Blimeycow all the way through. xP And you had some hilarious jokes. I loved that you mentioned the stopwatch campaign. xD

Not me. Out in the West, the box didn't arrive until 3 or 4 in the afternoon, so there was no point in staying up.

This was great! I thought of a few more of my own:

If you have dozens of friends living all around the country and your social life is epitomized for the most part by interactions via email, internet forums, and the like, rather than at church or school, you just might be in Bible Bee.
You know you're in Bible Bee when you start referring to next year's competition as "this year" as early as Thanksgiving.
You know you're in Bible Bee when you know the Competition Rulebook so well, you could probably act as an official judge just fine, even though you're underage.
You know you're in Bible Bee when, on April 1st, with a messy playroom to clean, an important outing to prepare for, breakfast to fix, dogs to feed, laundry to wash, a crying toddler to comfort, and a dirty diaper to change, getting your parents to sign you up for Bible Bee ASAP is still at the top of your priority list.

LOL! But um… I'm still wondering, what was the person who came in 69th place in the Juniors in 2010 score? Just curious. :)

This is too funny and so true!!!! (Especially the part about the 69th Junior in 2010) I'm laughing and crying right now!
Great job, Adams family!!!

I have a copy of a page that listed all the 2010 qualifiers in score order. It was featured in World Magazine. I know that I was 65th that year, so I just counted down four places.

Here are some of my own :)

You know you're in Bible Bee when…

You could never name the US presidents in order, but you do know the name, place, and age division of every finalist in Bible Bee history.
You prefer the Memverse forums over any social network site.
You feel extremely guilty reading anything other than the Bible or a reference book between the months of June and November.
You suffer from a Bible Bee hangover in the days and even weeks following the Bee.

Thanks for sharing your additions, Matthew and Tori - they were super fun to read + can relate. :D And that's so awesome that you guys know who was the 69th one in 2010…to be honest, we just chose some random numbers. ;) Thanks again for the encouragement!

Marie Morris

You know you are a BB alumni when you….
still memorize the updates to the rule book,
watch all the livecasts,
regularly read the BB memverse forums,
post on the BB forums,
end up studying the BB book of the year,
love to quiz current BBers,
are thinking of ways to devise a BB alumni contest :),
love to help write and proofread BB practice tests,
follow along in your Bible during the livecast as a "judge" :),
wish you could stay a senior for "just one more year" !!!

These additions are all really funny! I have a few as well:

You know you're in Bible Bee when…

Everyone thinks yellow, red, and navy blue are your family's three favorite colors because you and your siblings wear Bible Bee shirts so much.
Someone asks you to recite the Ten Commandments, and you respond with, "Umm… can I say the long version?"
You prefer saving old Sword Studies and verse cards over birthday cards from when you were 4.
You use last year's Scripture Stickies as bookmarks.
Bible Bee materials, ribbons, and trophies have taken over the top of your dresser.
You have at least 15 people in a minimum of 5 different states who you only see once a year (if that), but you still call them your friends.
You see someone in the Semis and immediately think, "She was the one who gave me a glittery red pencil with 'North Pole, Alaska' printed on it at 2009 Nationals!" (Yes, Dani M., I'm referring to you. :-) )
