Another thing my friend recommended is memorizing the cross references. She said that really helped her in the local test, and a lot of the cross references she memorized turned out to be verses for Nationals.

BB verses? Not including the ones I already knew, about 7. :)

Good for you! I've memorized the first 17 passages. I plan to finish with the rest by the end of this week.
