Bible Bee 2017

This may be just a typo, but on the BB website the amount for prize money they show has gone down - from 300 whatever grand to 100. Does anyone have any information on this?

We can go ahead and use this topic as the Bible Bee 2017 topic, if anyone wants to, haha :P

Yes, the amount of prize money has been reduced all around, and all 15 semifinalists in each age division will receive a small monetary prize. More info is included in the BB email.

I think it's a good thing, though. xD wishes they had the perfect oral round prizes when I competed xPP

I am wondering if any one could give me the referances of the verses that were memorized in the last Bible Bee from last year or this year? finds it funny that out of the 23 (now 24) posts on here, 15 (now 16) were made by people not competing in BB (if I counted right xD)

I make 17 comments by people not in Bible Bee. I am curious if anyone in Bible Bee using or makes their own Scripture songs to help them remember. I have a dream that before I die there will be 1,000,000 people who can sing 100 verses or more in one sitting and there will be 100 languages in which at least 100 people can sing 100 verses or more. Am I crazy, or would anyone feel led to believe this dream with me, and maybe also move to help it come true. Let me know here or at philjohn1558@yahoo.com if you yourself like to sing Scripture songs in English or another language. I will be making a special topic for this soon here on Memverse as well as on Facebook and on www.scripturememoryfellowship.com

Hello Mr. Walker, that's a really cool dream! While I don't personally make songs to remember Scripture, we used to know someone who has lots and lots of Scripture songs - I know a lot of Scripture from those songs. :) My family and I enjoy singing those songs. :)
