Bible Bee Study Book!

What does everyone hope the study Book of the Bible will be for the Bible Bee? I hope it's Galatians! :)

I don't have a specific preference for what book the Sword Study will cover, but I think it will either be James or 1 John. Galatians is also probable, though. I would probably enjoy studying James the most (mostly because I know that chapter well and would therefore do better on the written test at the Locals… :P)

Maybe one of the Thessalonians or Timothies?

I was looking at one of the BB microsites and it said something like "What book will we be studying this year? Family#1 - 1 Timothy. Family # 3 - 2 Timothy." I didn't understand the Family #s. I don't really understand it but maybe it means the 1st level we'll be doing 1 Timothy and then if you make it to next level you get 2 nd Timothy. ????

That would make sense. I guess we'll find out! :)
EDIT: I was just talking to my Dad about it and he said it is probably just what they were guessing, because Headquarters probably wouldn't release the info yet.

My guess - James or maybe Philippians. My Dad's guess - 1st & 2 Timothy and Titus.

Yeah, I think it's just someones guess. I don't think Bible Bee will release the study info till June 1st. That way, people can't get a "head start" by studying now.

I'm hoping the book will be Revelation.

We did Colossians and 1 Peter :)

Personally I'm hoping for something a little longer this year, since there'll only be 100 verses to memorize.

Revelation is an AWESOME book, but I'm not sure it would be Headquarters' first choice since there's so much "controversy" on what it means…(i.e. the amillenialism-premillenialism-postmillenialism debate).

Maybe a gospel, a longer letter, Proverbs, or some sort of history book?

Or maybe Psalms. ;D

I am really hoping either James; 1, 2, & 3 John; or 1 & 2 Timothy. I just got done watching a webcast from Ms Tammy McMahn on the Homeschool Channel, and she said the book will be 4-6 chapters. I can't wait until June 1st! 2 more days!

I got the Sword Drill but it worked just fine for me… except for uploading my scores to the internet (not that I wanted them on there yet - I got negative #s every time! :)) because I don't know what my contestant ID is. I'll be finding out on Monday, though. I hope it gets working for you! It's really great.

You know how you find out? Ask them online. You send them an email and say, "How can I find out my contestant ID #? My name is _______ and I am a (Primary, Junior, Senior)..." So on and so forth. That's what I always do. :)
