Key Words for Jonah and Nahum (2014)

I know there's already topics for key words, but this will be easier. Please share, two opinions are better than one!

I will go through and pick my key words and then put them on here :)

Avenges/Vengeance
Wrath/Anger
Power
Knows
Affliction/Afflicted

What about key verses? It's really hard to tell, but I thought maybe verse 3 for chapter 1, 13 for chapter 2, and 19 for chapter 3.

I see enemies, cut off, indignation…

Matthew: I probably agree with you about the key verses. Like you said, it's hard to know.

Oh, oh, and "cut off", "utter end", and if there are any other Hebrew words used for LORD/God.

Key words I studied for chapter 1: (KJV)
Jealous ( *qannow'* ), Take Vengeance ( *naqam* ), Fury/Furious ( *chemah* ), Indignation ( *za'am* ) - all going back to the Lord's *aph* and *ka'ac*
Power ( *koach* )
Good ( *towb* )
Trust ( *chacah* )
Utter End ( *kalah* )
Imagine ( *chashab* )
Commandment ( *tsavah* )

I came up with those three for key verses too (completely independently of you), so I think that they are probably as good a guess as any.

I chose 1:2, 2:13, and 3:19. Great minds think somewhat alike :P

Hey guys, do you have any good key words for Nahum 3?

I'm sticking with the words which relate directly to God because this seems really to be the heart of this.

And, of course, 'Anger' but we already studied that in Jonah. I know all of these are in Chapter 1 but I feel like if I pick any others, what word will I leave out? And I simply don't have time to learn Nahum in Hebrew and Greek.
