Live Quiz Help

Anybody want to say anything about problems they're having with the Bible Bee Live Quizzes? Maybe Alex can help if you tell him specifically what's going wrong.

Or we can just vent our frustration here when the chat stops working. :P

Anybody want to take Alex up on his offer to continue the chats here?

I had problems with the test not giving me all the questions. It only gave e every other question for most of the test.

Hehe. I only had 3 out of 15 come through. So be thankful you got as much as you did. ;D

I guess some people had t worse han me. Even though it didn't work well for me. I guess I should be glad it at least partially worked.

But I think that all of the chatting we got to do afterwards was worth it. Even though I ended up not getting to take much of the quiz. It was fun!

And all the laughing we did :D

I only got 3 out of 15 too. :) And I messed up on ALL of them! I was really surprised when it started working, and watching a timer count down, I just can't think. :) At least I got 5 points though!!! =D

Hey Matthew - Congrats on memorizing your 1400 verse on Memverse! That's great…keep it up! You definitely passed me up…but hopefully not for long :) I had to go through and delete and pend lots of memorized verses because I was to overwhelmed.

The Live Quiz yesterday @ 2 PM was a success - no errors! :D

Unfortunately, the live quiz did not work for me yesterday, but I think it's a problem on our side since it worked for my sister. I'm going to ask my dad to take a look at it.

@Bethany: Thanks! I was going to ask you how you got below me… We'll see how long it takes you to catch back up to me, but at least you've caught up to me in the levels! :) Although if you unpend some of your memorized verses, it would be easy for you to go back up. I don't have any memorized verses on pending.

@Matthew - Well, ur, I pended about 90 memorized ones, and deleted about 200 memorized ones. I'm only planning on unpending those 90 when I have reviewed them on the card first (which might take a while). But, even if I did unpend them all, I still wouldn't pass you up :)

I felt really bad doing all that deleting, but I felt like that would probably be best.

EDIT – Oh, yeah, I guess we are tied on the levels…what do you have to do to move up another one? I need to refer another user, or get one of my unactive ones, active!

I need to get 12 referral points. I have to refer like eight users… I only have 4.5 points right now. I got to 11 points at one time because of the "mistake" they made a month or so ago, so that's how I got to level 40. I doubt I'll go up a level anytime soon. I think you might get to level 41 before me.
But, looking at your referrals and seeing that four of the active ones have completed 0 sessions, it looks just as possible that someone will leave us both in the dust. :)

EDIT: Hey, your sister's above you! That's strange… :P I'm sure she's excited about that.

@Matthew – I noticed about your referrals right after I asked you :) Well, it's three now not 4 – I'm "Joy". Anyways, I'll be contacting some of the people who haven't done any memory sessions and talk to them about it :P Hopefully, I'll be able to keep moving up levels. There is a possiblity that I'll have 3 new referrels in just a couple of days, which I'm really excited about!

@Matthew Minica – I don't see why you don't want the question back so fast, if your thing is on Tuesday…did I not get them to you in time, or something??

Well, it was my fault that I didn't see this coming, and so I didn't get the questions done on time. It's not your fault at all. I have already sent our questions, including the memory verse questions, to the compilers.

So, unless you see any major problems with my questions, you don't have to worry about getting them edited for the locals test. Just edit them SOMEtime so that we can get our test for Memverse finished.

Oh, so the compilers just need time to put it all together, is that why you can't use them?

Did punctuation count on this quiz?

Yeah… I already sent the questions to them, as I told you, so it's probably not a good idea to change the questions and confuse them. They will probably do a little bit of tweaking to our questions anyhow. :)

Yeah, I'm sure my questions could be tweaked more…sorry they had so many mistakes in them! I'll definitely try to do better on my next ones…

How's studying going? (Might of noticed that's one of my questions I ask a lot :P)

I went to the BibleBee quiz room and couldn't see anything I got on about 1:30. I tried both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I also tried refreshing the page. I totally understand that this problem is with my computer but I since I am computer illiterate. I would greatly appreciate it if someone might be able to diagnose a possible problem. I got to the page and typed in some stuff into the Send box just to see what was going on. After I clicked Send it vanished.

during a typing question,the "answer" button is unresponsive (during July 27's test).
