Memverse Meeting Nationals 2016

Hey y'all! Nationals is in a couple months, and that means we need to have a Memverse meet-up! Because we're still a couple months away, I'm not setting details yet, but as we get closer, I will update this topic and email Memversers with details. Looking forward to seeing people at Nationals!

Will you post the time and day somewhere else (ST, Quizlet, or the Google+ group)? I don't plan to be back on MV until the Friday before Nationals, so I was wondering if I would hear about the meeting before then.

I don't think there is a contestant fun night this year…there's family fun night though. Not really sure what that's going to be like. xP

At long last! Here are details for the Memverse meeting. Feel free to give your feedback about the time.

What: Memverse Meeting!
When: November 16, 2016 @ 4:00 PM
Where: (hopefully you all will know where this is) By the elevators at the right of the lobby by the game tables.
Directions: Walk in the main doors of the hotel. Turn right and walk to the elevators. Turn left right before you get to the elevators.

I have a request…I plan to attend if I am able, but I can only stay until about 4:30, as there is a moderator's dinner then. Can we try to take the group picture first? :) I've never been able to make the MV picture, and last year I didn't even make the meeting =/

Sounds good to me. Maybe it will motivate everybody (including me) to be there on time. :P

@Rachel- I'm fine with that. :P. You need to get in the picture!

Rachel: We will plan to take the picture near the beginning. I'm hesitant to put it right at the beginning because sometimes people show up a little later, but I will make sure that we do it so that you can be in it. I will make sure to bring my camera for the picture as well as a sheet where people can put their emails so I can email it to them.

All: In previous years we would spend time praying at this, but as we have a prayer time set for 3:00-4:00, I think we will spend this meeting just getting to know people. Do you like the structured meeting where people go around and introduce themselves, or should it just be a "free-for-all"? Thoughts please!

So, we are going to have a structured time where we go around and introduce ourselves, and then a "free-for-all" time of fellowship.

3-4 PM Wednesday Location to be determined, primarily small groups
6:40-6:55 AM Thursday in the game area next to the elevators, large group
