Not sure where to put this, but did anyone else get the email about BBHQ moving to San Antonio, TX? The email subject said "Under New Management", but, um, what does that mean….? Ideas, anyone?

They're moving to San Antonio?! ^well, that's cool - closer to OR, for one thing^ We didn't get that email. I wonder who will be managing it now.

I think I heard that BB hired some business consultant guy… and he's from Texas.

They'd move over the HQ for that? The email said that none of the staff members would be moving to TX. That's…interesting.

It also said that the decision was made by the Board of Directors, which is basically made up of the Kennedy family and Mike Farris. The only reason I could think of was that the Kennedy's live in SA, but that still doesn't really make sense.

That's what I was wondering! I think it only went to 2015 hosts. Which is kinda funny, because we haven't signed up to host yet this year.

Nope, thankfully :) I'm 16. I qualified every year, and went to Nats every year but last.

There is always that possibility. One could always ask HeadQuarters if it is true, but if it was a prank the prankster(s) would likely get in trouble. I doubt that HeadQuarters appreciates jokes that actually give people misinformation. I would be interested to see if anyone else got this email, as there are several people on here who I am pretty sure would be notified if this was, in fact, the case, though we must take into consideration that perhaps they would also be notified if it was a prank.

SA would be HORRIBLE! We would never be able to go. I would cry my eyes out AGAIN!

YAY! I was about to delete my comments xP Just wanted to say hi because I probably won't be on this Saturday. :P Playing at the funeral went well! With the Lord's help (not to mention a couple of hours of practice) I managed to get the jazz song more or less done. It was a great experience. :)

That would be really great, except… it might be a bit hard to work out because we'd probably have two dozen other families wanting to come over as well. xP We'll cross that bridge if we come to it. Because of that, I'm personally hoping for Houston. :)
