Sword Study Announcement!

Hi all! :)

So, I have a super exciting announcement about the Sword Studies.

We (the McMahan Family) have set up a BEAUTIFUL website (I am bragging on my brother :D) and are selling the Sword Studies - from past years and this year's new study!

We are also selling the Musical Scripture CD's, Tracing Sheets, and bookmarks. :D Please come check it out at: WordintheFamily.org and SwordStudy.org!

So Ashley, if the Bible Bee book over the summer is different than the sword study book, do we not have to wait until June 1st to get our sword study in the mail if we order one? Not to sound impatient or anything, but I can't think of a book of the Bible that would go with a treasure box, or hope chest, or old fashioned suitcase, or whatever that thing on the front of the 2015 sword study is, and, while I will probably not die from anticipation, I am maddeningly curious.
It is rectangular and locks
Not sure if it's a treasure box
Or suitcase and what is inside
If with a crowbar thing I pried
It open what would it reveal…
Things allegorical or real?

So let me get this straight. There is a Sword Study for this year, but it won't be used for this year's Bible Bee, right? So I would have to order it separately if I wanted it?

No, The SG will be a different book+topic. And yes, you will have to order it from Wordinthefamily.org…which I plan to do after this years BB ;)

Hi Ashley! :D I don't know if you can say this or not, but would you be able to tell us what the Nationals study book/passage would have been for this year? I'm very curious as to what we would have studied that went along with Ruth. :)

Awesome site!!! I hope our family can do the Sword Study once we're done with the John 1-6 study!!! Ruth would be really cool to study.

That would have been funny, since a group of us Bible Bee-ers studied it earlier this year. :)

It is kinda long, though - 10 chapters.

I just associate Ruth with Esther in my mind, for obvious reasons. ;) Plus, there's not really any other book in the Bible that directly relates to Ruth, is there?

@Esther: That is true, ten chapters would be a bit much. Wouldn't have put it past them, though. ;)
