Thoughts on 2012 passages

Any meditations, thoughts, or insights on the 2012 Bible bee passages we have been memorizing this year?

i am writing on this page because I cannot view any other page marked Bible Bee. Is anyone else getting the notice "this page has been moved" when you click on the Bible Bee catagory in the fourms? The only way I could get to this BB page was it was the last posted on page.

I have done pretty well with it but have had some problems wih Ezekiel 26:23-27, Galatians 1:11-17, and 2 Peter 3:3-9. Other than that I have done pretty well and am looking forward to the Bible Bee competitions. The only thing I think I should work on and you will probably want to work on as well is knowing your information from the Sword Study. The reason I am saying this is that alot of the people in the Bible Bee will probably have all their verses memorized pretty well this year. Some people could get nervous and forget their verses but I think that alot of the competition at the Local Round will be in the written test. Happy memorizing!

My most difficult passage so far has been Job 6:14-21. It was really hard to memorize because it's so…cryptic and all over the place, I guess? It was just weird.

Hmm… the NIV explains that verse quite well… :P

I'd have to agree with COS. the other one was Hebrews 4:4-10 until I studied it and then I was like duh.

My hardest verses were 2 Peter 3:3-9, Ephesians 6:10-18, and Philippians 1:27-30 because I memorized them in a different version last year, and I am having a bit of a hard time getting my mind wrapped around the translation differences.

That would be tough.

I've struggled a lot with Hebrews 4:4-10, Ezekiel 36:23-27 and Philippians 1:27-30.

I've had troubles with those too, except for Philippians 1:27-30, I had a hard time with it last year, when it was a National verse, so the hard part was already done. :P Hebrews 4:4-10 just doesn't make much sense to me… sighs

Hebrews 4:4-10 is a hard one. I think it is probably my least favorite passage this year.
