I got 195 - :O :( Anyway, my little sis made it so we're probably going to go - if we do, we're going to have to have all non-qualifiers meet up during the time that our siblings are competing - maybe we could have a special little room or something - that would be really cool! :)

Wow, that's a small group! in 2011, (The first year I competed) our bee was about 8 contestants :) Where did you place?

If it makes any one on here feel any better, don't give up just because you didn't make it this year. You all still did a great job. I've worked at the Bible Bee for five years, and this is my first year to go, so don't give up. The very fact that you were in the Bee and memorized all the verses proves that you're not quiters.

I forgot to mention that this was my last year to be young enough to compete, as such I wanted to do a better than normal job, and make it to nationals, being my last opportunity. Somehow, that notion was for all intents and purposes lost on me during the middle part of the summer, even though it may have returned about the last week before local contest, and left me in such a state; rank: 230 001136 Senior Nenana AK written: 333 oral: 281 total: 614
