  • the graduated scale from 1-5 of memorization success, if the only thing that really counts is to record a "5", because everything else (that is, 1-4) is treated as not learned? I would like to be able to see a gradula progression in my learning of a memory verse from 1, through 2, 3, 4 and then ultimately 5. At the moment (being a new member of this service) I do not see the point in recording 1-4 because these interim results cannot be tracked anywhere so I can see whether my memorization of a particular verse is getting any better or any worse, over time. I'd like to know how I am able to view progress over time with a particular verse, using the scale of 1-4 to guide me. Without this ability, you may as well just use "Learned" or "Not learned" as your only two options each time!

Andre - Sorry for the delay approving this post and responding. Please post future questions related to the site via the Feedback tab. This forum really isn't for answering these types of questions, but I realize you weren't aware of that. The Feedback part of the site doesn't require approving posts, and we get emails about it; this part of the site can be missed by the moderators pretty easily…

So that's a good question. Here's the answer: Those results are tracked. Each button does something a little different.

Buttons 3, 4, and 5 indicate that you did remember the verse – and they tell about how well you remembered the verse. The higher the number, the better you remembered it, the faster it will be memorized on the site.

Buttons 1 and 2 indicate you didn't remember the verse – and button 1 means you really had no clue, while button 2 means it was lodged somewhere in your brain – even though you couldn't pull it out.

For more information on this, please see http://www.memverse.com/blog/main/Rating_Your_Memory_Recall?page=11

If you have any other questions, please let us know via the Feedback section.

May God bless you as you memorize his Word!
