50 States? When will it happen?

Does anyone want to predict when we will get all 50 States on the State Leaderboard? I predict December 20th. Just a guess.

Does anyone have anybody they know from Idaho, Rhode Island, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Vermont or the District of Columbia that they can refer to Memverse?

@Isaac: I'm not as brave as you are. It is hard to predict, unless you know people from those states whom you think might join.

@All: Does anybody know whether Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, or any other territories of the US can get on the state leaderboard? Just curious.

YES! I know Christie Johnson from Wyoming. I got her to sign up about 2 months ago, but she is inactive right now. Maybe I'll send her an e-mail tonight about adding that as her state…and going active :)

Other than Wyoming, I have no idea about the others….

Uh, and I don't think I'm going to guess a date yet :P

I might have to change my prediction later but just wanted to get this started and make a prediction.

We would have to find at least three people to get a state on the leaderboard, right? (Some of the states have only one that shows up now, but all of them that are there had at least three people active at some point.) Or maybe some of these states already have one or two!

I think I understand what you are saying but do you want to make a predition?

It's a little hard to tell right now. Perhaps we could try for at least four of these states within a year? Yes, that might seem very slow–but I like to make the goal long-term and then have it happen sooner than I think!

(On the other hand, I do know some people who live in Idaho, and maybe that could get us a little closer to having all of the states!)

Well, 9 months later and Idaho, Wyoming, and New Hampshire have joined! We have only Rhode Island, Vermont, and the District of Columbia missing! Getting closer!

Yay! DC isn't a state though.

It's still included in the list. If you go to your profile, it's possible to put in DC as your state.

Yeah but it isn't one of the fifty states that this topic refers to, right?

Whatever. :P Since it's eligible, I think it counts.
