Anyone learning ASL?
I am!
Here I'll post a sign of the 2 days (cause I'm not on here on Sunday usually) and we can talk about signing, and what signs we've learned! (If you're learning them)
Today's and tomorrow's sign is "s" just a plain fist.

Yay!!!! I've needed someone to 'talk' sign language with!!! I've been on my own!

I've learned the Lord's Prayer in sign language, but since BB, I've forgotten most of it :P I use an old 'The JOY of Signing' book.

I'm learning it too….somewhat…..

Cool! I use Baby Signing Time and Signing Time (the videos.) to learn sign language

How are you going to practice sign language on memverse?…

I know a lot of ASL, but I'm not proficient

My thoughts exactly… Nothing against posting about ASL, but it would be hard to actually demonstrate sign language… :P

I know the whole alphabet, how to count up to ten, and how to say grouchy horse. :P Oh…and I used to know the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag, but I kind of lost that. ;)

I love ASL I wish I could use it more!

I know the alphabet, how to count up to 10, banana, car, day, resurrection, ascension, and… that's about it. Oh, yeah, and I know how to say "U R Crazy" in ASL, too! :P

LOL…I think I could do the U R Crazy too.

I know nothing in sign language… :P (Except for the letter "s", thanks to Hannah. ;D)

I don't know exactly what I use…. I just use a variety of books.
My neighbor and I sign language to each other from our windows :)

Sorry I didn't get to get on yesterday to post a sign. Okay, here's the new sign! love - cross your arms over your chest (your hands in fists).
We can't exactly demonstrate it, but I thought it'd be cool to see who all is learning it.

I have a book called Essential ASL that I am using. I am proficient at signing with the alphabet, but since that takes a while, I have started going through the dictionary and learning it. So far I have about, accept, across, add, address, advice, afraid, afternoon, again, against, agree, and a few more that I can't remember right now. It is fun! :-)

Today and Tomorrow's sign is Bible: sign Jesus, and then book. (You can look up the signs for those.)

I can sing "Thank You Lord" in sign language.

Cool! I can't sing any song in it yet, just learning basic signs. (i.e. help, love, you, me, go, stop, outside, tree, flower, etc.)

I can do the alphabet and mosquito/fly/bug. (I can't remember which one it is. ;)) Oh, and cat.

Dani meant that she needed someone to talk about it with, and maybe someday when she meets them, practice it.

Cool! I know more signs then I can name! But if you ask me if I know a certain sign, I could probably tell you if I know it or not. I do know bug, I don't know mosquito or fly, I do know the alphabet and cat as well. But I also know many, many more!

Yup, though most of the snow has melted except our snow fort. :)

red, red, my flowers are red, and orange, orange, nice and warm (huh?) yellow, just like the sun, green, green, my little green frog, purple, the best sunsets, and blue, the ocean is beautiful, do you know the colors of our rainbow too?

next sign: sun (cause it's melting the snow) darw a circle above your head with your finger, then open up your hand for the sun's rays.

So, I need to learn ASL really fast…. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do that?

Buy lots of Signing Time videos! Whenever you speak, or hear someone else speak, sign along!

There was one really good book about giving the gospel in ASL…. Oh I wish I could remember what it is called!!! Get back to you about it later!

Moriah knows 60+ signs. She just turned 2 this month.
