Hello everyone! As I said in my introductory topic over on the other forum, I am a Christian film maker.

Several years ago I started my own company. Through it I made radio shows, videos, and other fun media. This was the start of my company Animal Media Productions.

Edit: If you would rather watch a video that talks about us than read over this long post, here's a quick 1 minute promo that explains everything you need to know about us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmHCnwheDI0

Animal Media Productions is a studio devoted to giving the family helpful, uplifting, audio and video content that teaches people the truth about God's word and upholds biblical values while at the same time being very fun and enjoyable for kids.

AMP is very similar to Nathan's company, Mustard Seed Faith Media. The main difference is the fact that our target audience is a lot younger than his. We want to reach kids ages 5 - 11 years old. Therefore, this is a great place to send your younger siblings when they are bored. :) I will note, though, that many others who aren't even close to the age range enjoy the videos and audio stuff too, so I am sure you older ones will find something interesting. XD

Now as for the name, here's why we're called Animal Media Productions. Everything we do is accomplished through stuffed animals! XD We talk through them of course, but it's a fun way to get people's attention and come up with story lines even though we have few human actors on board with us.

Now before you go thinking that this is just a cheesy company that has no potential, go take a look for yourselves. XD You can find us at AnimalMediaProductions.weebly.com.

After you're done looking over the website, (be sure to look at everything! There's a lot there!) Feel free to add us on google+ ( https://plus.google.com/u/0/118320523689882664421/posts ) and subscribe to our YouTube Channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/animalmediaprod ). If you are on Grooveshark, feel free to follow us there as well. (http://grooveshark.com/#!/animalmediaproductions )

Once you're done there come on back here and let me know what you think! I'll also be giving updates on newly released stuff on this topic as well.

And lastly, I want to thank Nathan for his assistance with everything, but especially the website.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Nathan! :D

@Sauroc: Yes, no animals were harmed in the making of my videos. XD -At least not seriously…- XD

Yep.. Two videos were released today. This one is a short introductory video that explains what we're all about for those of you who don't know. As always, check it out and let me know what you think. :)

(And I have no idea why it's acting so strange with the quality… Hopefully that will be fixed soon. :) )

I'm thinking about getting a camera for some stop-motion I hope to do (my house is a black hole that likes to eat your stuff when you're not looking; my last camera is lost). So I'm looking for something with Remote Capture (so I can take a pic without touching the actual camera), has very good manual focus (because Autofocus messes up stop-motion big time), one that's not too expensive, and one that I would be able to hook up to a computer and still take pics with. Preferably Canon, but I can work with other brands if needed; I'm new to photography stuff anyways. Can you help me out?

YES YES YES!!! I know just the camera for you! It's the same one I have. :D The canon T3i has all those things. It comes with software and cables so that you can hook it to a computer, and you can even get a wireless remote to release the shutter if you so wish. (It's way more convenient than hooking it up to a computer) With the Canon Rebel T3i, the lenses have a switch on them that allows you to change to manual focus and you change it by turning the end of the lens.

Canon is definitely the way to go.

The price depends on the accessories you want. The Canon T3i was discontinued in 2011, but you can still get it readily on ebay and probably Amazon. I wouldn't bother with the T4i or the newest T5i unless you are a film fanatic, have lots of money, want to get the "latest and greatest" etc. The only thing different about the T4i is the fact that it has auto focus during film shooting. (Which you dont need for stop motion) The T5i has a touch screen… Not the greatest thing for a camera in my opinion. :P The T3i is your best bet.

So the price depends on several things: Do you want to use the camera for photography as well, or just stop motions? If you want to get just the body of the camera with no lenses, it goes for about $400. If you want one lens (the one I'd recommend for stop motion) namely the 18-55mm kit lens, that will bring your price up a little to $460. I would do this if I were you as the camera will not work without a lens, and you most likely dont have one. If you want to do major photography, you could also buy the 70-300mm zoom lens with those two ^ as a package for about $700.

Hope that helps! :D

And that's about the cheapest camera I can think of that has all the features you want. :P Not cheap, but the quality is great and as long as you have a good tripod, it will be just what you need for stop motions.

Economical, is the word you're looking for. Picked that one up when doing the science fair a couple years back. Y'don't say cheap, that casts a shoddy light on it, you say economical. Goes over quite well with the judges. ;)

Very true. XD Whoops… It's in no manner cheap. It is however economical. ;) Thanks.

New Video! :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzWDk4Z48pA

All in all, this video took over 20 and 1/2 hours to make and it's been two months in the making. This episode is about Jonah! Nathan is one of the ones who submitted a question for this episode! Be sure to watch to the end, even though it's long. Trust me. It's worth it. The more you watch, the better it gets. ;)

From the description:
"This week, Bison Burger tells us the story of Jonah and what principles we can apply to our own lives from it. At the conclusion, Noah Cheesestick answers the questions we received after the last episode.

Have a question about scripture or otherwise that you would like us to answer on the show? Send it in to the one and only stuffed Dolphin on YouTube and Google Plus!
