AWANA

Do any of you do AWANA????? I do. I actually do my AWANA on it. It seems to be everywhere. right now I'm on Ultimate Challenge book 2 in T&T.

I wanted to do it but we are doing BSF now because my mom wanted us to all do the same thing.

I have been a leader in SPARKS for five years. :D

When was the right age I did AWANA, and then I helped out as a leader, now I have not been doing that because of school, and there aren't enough kids to warrent my being there.(some days there is a 1 to 1 ratio of children to leaders).

I understand not enough kids. :) One day we had what felt like four leaders for every kid. Maybe it was just 2 leaders per kid, but it was something like that.

giggles whenever I hear AWANA I just think of the little red and yellow vests. Do u still wear those? :)

@ Danielle: I know what you mean. No, I'm out of that now. my brother's in it now though. I wear a green T-shirt. ;P

That, Rachel, is my handwriting on a marker board that is in our Sunday school classroom. I was the scribe yesterday in class. :)

It described Jesus as he was something w/o being something. There was one that said "Jesus was something w/o being intolerant. (Don't ask me what the something was.)

Yeah he was writing down the stuff for our Sunday school class. 9th-12th grade. :)

That's awesome! We have to stay in the main service on Sunday but on wednesdays we have our youth group. Our church is sort of small, about 200 people probably

It's not during the service. It's after. The adults have Sunday school too after service. We just got a children's church for ages 3 to 10 for during the service and we have a nursery for 3 and under. :)

Even cooler!! How long is your service and how long is the sunday school?

Our service goes from about 9:45-11:15ish. :) and then Sunday school is from 11:20-12:15ish. :)

Cool! Our service lasts from 11:00 to about 1:15 including worship. From 10:00-11:00 we have a leadership class for the adults. During this time I have band practice with some of the other youth because we do worship for the kids. :)

That's cool. :) we r kinda taking over the AWANA form though. :)

Hey… so you only worship when music is playing?? JK I like to make that joke, because some people seem to think it's more worshipful to sing to God than to pay attention when His Word is being preached… :D

Lol wait I think that comment belongs on the social chatting form when Sam was saying that he dosn't really take notes on the sermon anymore…. Lol :) I don't either, but at least I'm not watching my friend's little brothers making faces at me!!!! :) lol :P :) JK!! Lol jk!

We still have tonight plus three weeks in May!

I don't mind three more weeks though cause they are awesome themes!! :) Birthday Party night is next week (ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!), then leader appreciation night (that one is always awesome!! ), and last is awards so I don't really have to do anything. :P

Yeah, I guess I don't really count awards night as a night either.

im in the first book of Trek and i use members for my verses. it's helped me a lot to memorize my verses.
