No one has posted here in hours! I was starting to think the website was malfunctioning! Lol
SavedByGrace
Actually, the answer to the question I asked is Jeremiah. Though it is only the third longest book in the Bible with regards to chapters, it has more words than any other book.
Also, the shortest verse in the NIV is not John 11:35, but Job 3:2–"He said." :D LOL

What Old Testament leader was left handed???
(Oh yeah, this question's from a left hander!)
SavedByGrace
I remember he was a judge, and I think his name started with an "E," but I can't remember his whole name.
admin
You're really close!
Dani(elle)
Ehud? Wait no wasn't that the king he killed or something?
SavedByGrace
Yes, I'm sure you're right! I remember now. But the king he killed was not left-handed, Ehud was.
Dani(elle)
Yeah for some reason I remember that story…… :)
His Servant
Sorry to be off topic, but I always think it's neat to find another left handed person, Jordan! I'm left handed as well :) I have no idea about your question, though :(
@Nicolas – Yup, Job 3:2 is the shortest verse in the Bible!
2 Corinthians 5:17
What king was very, VERY fat? :)
biblebee
Well…maybe in different versions. It is one letter longer then John 11:35
admin
SavedByGrace
Well, I'm not left-handed, but Octavius is. :) I can't imagine being left-handed myself. :P
admin
Actually SBG, we're all born right handers, but only the best of us overcome that! J/K
His Servant
And I, for one, can't imagine being right-handed! But, I think that this has gotten quite off topic…
Where was Enoch buried? :)
Sydney (aka The Gopher)
Enoch wasn't buried, he didn't die, God took him away!
Anna Mieczkowski
@ Bethany and Jordan - I had no idea you guys were left-handed. Well, congratulations - you are in the minority….but you must be in your right mind.
@ Bethany - Job 3:2 is not the shortest verse in the Bible! John 11:35 is! HA! For once you are wrong and I am right:) JK
His Servant
I've been wrong way more than once, Anna :) But, "Job said" is shorter than "Jesus said" :D
Matthew Minica
@anna, Bethany, Nicolas - You are all right. It just depends on the version you are using. Job 3:2 in the KJV says "And Job spake, and said", and NKJV says something similar. However, in NASB & ESV it is "And Job said", and NIV says simply "He said".
@Bethany & Jordan - I'm left-handed too. :D You two are only #3 & 4 on my "Left-Handed Friends & Acquaintances" list. A small but mighty group! :P
His Servant
Yeah, you two are the only friends that I have that are left-handed. "A small but mighty group! :P" I like that!
SavedByGrace
Here's another question:
Why was Moses buried in Moab?
Matthew Minica
Because he wasn't allowed to enter the promised land, and Moab is where they happened to be when they were about to cross the Jordan.
(I was almost about to say that he wasn't buried in Moab… Good thing I thought twice!)
His Servant
Truthfully, I didn't know the answer… : | EDIT: I mean, I did remember once you reminded me, Matthew. |
Here's some questions: What kind of wood was used for the ark? How many men were originally in Gideon's army? What three implements did each of Gideon's men have?
Matthew Minica
Gopher wood! (I don't exactly know what that is…)
His Servant
Come on! Can't y'all give some questions?
Matthew Minica
To your other questions… 32,000; and a torch, a clay jar and a trumpet.
Here's a trivia question: Everybody knows the last judge of Israel (Samuel), but who was the first judge?
His Servant
I really should know this, but I can't remember! How 'bout an easier question? :)
Matthew Minica
I'll give you a couple hints: He was Caleb's nephew. His wife asked for springs of water.
An easier question? Hmm… How about… What tribe did Saul come from? Samson? Caleb? Elijah? Elisha?
biblebee
@Bethany: In ESV it says "And Job Said"…which, by the way, is one letter longer than "Jesus wept".
Anna Mieczkowski
@ Matthew - thank you for clarifying. John 11:35 is shorter in my version:::))))) Everyone wins…..wait, I hate it when people say it that way! I like more - "you all are right," or "nobody's wrong," or other things that I can't think of right now:)
Emily H
Ugh, I can't remember his name….. He also married Caleb's daughter, right?
Saul was from Benjamin
Samson…I don't remember, maybe Gad?? But that's probably not right. (Yeah, it's not right, I looked it up, but I was sort of close! jk:)
Caleb was from Judah
I don't know about Elijah or Elisha because we haven't got to that part yet. :)

Who threw dirt and rocks at King David?
What was the name of Jonathan's son (who King David helped)?
biblebee
Othniel the son of Kenez
SavedByGrace
Wow, you guys are giving some difficult questions! :D But I have a Bible trivia questions book here at home, and maybe I'll use it sometime… :P
Anyway, the answer to my question is quite simple: because he was dead. :P
2 Corinthians 5:17
How many verses does Psalm 119 have? (no peeking!)
Dani(elle)
A lot. :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
True, but how many to be exact?
Emily H
176????
SBG: Hey, there not that hard, I just can't remember the answers. :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
Yup! :)
I just hope BBHQ doesn't pick that for a passage! ;-)
Emily H
lol, me too. I had enough trouble with the passages from Psalm 119 they had for Nationals! :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
By the way, I think I saw you at Nationals, but never talked to you : |
Emily H

2 Corinthians 5:17

Emily H

2 Corinthians 5:17
That's good! :)
Emily H
It was better than I was expecting. =D I was scared to look at first…. lol =D
What days were you at Nationals? Were you there the whole time?
His Servant
Get our your book, Nicolas, and use it! We have two over here, and that's where I look to get my questions :)
But really, my dad says this is great for Bible Bee!!
2 Corinthians 5:17
We were there the 16th and 17th….I didn't qualify but we decided to come for those 2 days….we don't live too far away…. but far enough that we had to stay in a hotel ;-)
