Hey all! If you have seen/want to see Brave (Disney Pixar) can you post here what your thoughts are?? I know there may be both positive and negative reviews, so I guess I will start:

My thoughts on Brave, which I saw last night, was in between good and bad. The animation was phenomenal, but there were some elements that weren't great, either. There are a couple of scary scenes (for younger kids, that is, I wasn't scared but I have younger siblings to worry about. :P), and there is something slightly God-dishonoring. There is a witch, which the whole movie revolves around in as much as the spell that creates the bear(s) in the movie.
Overall, the movie was good to watch a couple of times. I personally think that it did NOT top some of Pixar's previous movies (Tangled, for example) but it also did better in my eyes than a few of their previous ones (Cars 2).
So I guess that's my review. What are your thoughts?? I would have said more, but being that it just came out, I didn't want to post any spoilers. So I wrote what I could without worrying about receiving too much flack for it. Thanks,
Claire

Yes, Pixar helped with Tangled. That, along with most other animated Disney films, was made through pixar. I believe Disney bought Pixar, actually, and so they do a lot of movies with that top of the line animation.
Tangled was also Disney's 50th movie. :)

yeah, I found a trivia app that had some good points to make. Pixar had to use a newer technology to get Rapunzel's hair to glow. They had only used it in one other movie (Bolt), and apparently it is difficult to get to work.
