Unless everyone thinks this is too similar to the Music topic, I thought we could talk about our favorite Christian contemporary artists, bands, radio stations, and songs.

I seem to recall an old topic called "I <3 Music" that was more for this purpose… The title of this topic is more specific though, so let's use this one. :)

My favorite artists/bands are Mandisa, Casting Crowns, Jason Gray, and Natalie Grant. (On my favorite radio station they had live concerts by Natalie Grant and Mandisa a couple of weeks ago, who came to their studio!!!)

Ahh!! I have so many favorite songs, and I keep changing my mind on which one I like best!! :P But anyhow, here's a partial list:

I love Praise You In This Storm, Worn, Need You Now, Words, etc., too! (And pretty much every other song you mentioned.) But, like you, I was afraid of filling up the whole page!

If we r talking about like K-love songs I'd say,

The new Colton Dixon song the 'I was never gone' one I'm not sure what it's called. He has awesome hair BTW. :) lol

I love 'Loosing' too. It's sooo easy to relate to for me. :)

The songs I relate to most are "Who Am I" and "Remind Me Who I Am" and "I Will Not Be Moved". The last one especially.

Favorite artist: I think it has to be tobyMac, but Mandisa comes in a close second.

This looks like a dangerous thread for me to be on! I might never get off. :P I love Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Mercy Me, Matt Redman, Keith Green, Steve Camp, Michael Card, Josh Turner… the list could go on. :) (Yeah, I know I got some oldies in there) I also really like Matthew Smith. Oh, yeah, and I've heard one or two of Indelible Grace's songs and I love them.

@Bethany - LOVE Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), Spoken For and My Savior My God especially, of the ones you mentioned. I also totally forgot to mention yesterday - I Am Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave, Safe in His Arms by Phil Wickham, Alive by Natalie Grant, More by Matthew West, The Struggle by Tenth Avenue North, Only Grace by Matthew West… I really should stop! But I love them all!!! :D

As for favorite artist, Casting Crowns definitely gets my top pick. As for second place though, it's a five-way tie between Matthew West, Tenth Avenue North, Jeremy Camp, MercyMe and Chris Tomlin.

Move? gasps How can you possibly stand that song? thinks for a moment Although I guess most people don't have it permanently associated in their minds with perfectionist dance teachers who yell at them if they're not among the best in the class… Never mind. ;-)

I think I like "Homesick" best, though I also really like "You Are I Am", "Spoken For", and "I Can Only Imagine". EDIT: I can't believe I forgot about "The Hurt and the Healer" and "Word of God Speak". :P

"Born Again" is the only one of those I've ever heard, that I know of…

@Madi & Bethany - IKR? I especially like "Word of God Speak" as a song to sing or think about before studying the Word. @Carissa, if you liked Bart Millard's style of singing, I think you'd love that song! :D

"Spoken For", "I Can Only Imagine," and "Word of God Speak" are my favorite MercyMe songs! (I haven't heard too many others, though… :D)

Oh, yeah, and my favorite Casting Crowns songs are "Courageous" and "Praise You in the Storm."

Okay, my favorite song of all time is In Christ Alone. But I have to say that my favorite contemporary Christian song is You by Britt Nicole. If you don't know it, look it up!
