Clubhouse Magazine

Who here gets Clubhouse Magazine? I love it and this page can be for discussing different articles and things that are in the monthly issues of Clubhouse magazine. :)

We used to get this magazine (and some of our jokes actually made it in there once :D), but not anymore, so… we probably won't be able to add much to any discussions here. :)

Why don't you get it anymore? That's sad. I have a web address that you can use to get $5 off for a years subscription. :) Which months/years did your jokes get in? (if that made any sense) I have a whole collection of Clubhouse and Clubhouse JR (100+ magazines) - maybe I have the ones with you guys in it!

Apparently my parents didn't think it was worth the money. :) I never was really too interested in it anyway, though… :P

The month and year that we got our jokes in was… uh, hang on. :D

I'll wait - I'm still here - :) I can't imagine anyone not liking Clubhouse.

If it's too much trouble don't worry about it - They have had a couple of AIO articles lately — They did Zach Callison (Matthew Parker), Gatlin Green and Andy Pessoa (Priscilla Peterson and Barrett Jones), and they just did an article last month on Shona Kennedy, the 2012 Get in the Show winner. Did you watch the GITS finale live in November last year?

My sister and I get it too - :) I am always sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to get it in the mail at the end of the month!!!!!!!! I sit down and read it immediately. Seriously! From cover to cover.

Yes, I saw the finale for the GITS contest. I wouldn't personally have picked Shona, but whatever… :P I tried for a while to find that magazine, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Sorry about that. But if you're ever going through your magazines and find in the jokes section four jokes by Christian A., Nicolas A., Rosie A., and Royal A., you'll know it's us. :D

@SBG - okay, I'll look sometime. :) I voted for Annaliese Wilford - who did you guys vote for?

I unfortunately don't remember the names of the other two, but I know that the one I liked best was the oldest one. :)

BTW, this might help your search for our jokes (though probably not much :D): the jokes were, "Why did Moses put his staff in the oven? To get a hot rod!", "What do you call a cow in a telephone booth? Stuck!", "What do you call a dancing sheep? A baa-lerina!", and "What do you call a rooster's hairstyle? A cockle-doodle-do!" :P For three of the jokes, Gary Locke, the AIO illustrator, actually drew pictures for them! We were so excited when we saw them. :D

That is soooooooo cool! I was in one of them but he didn't draw it…Annaliese was the oldest (14) - I think she was my favorite!

Does your liking her the best have anything to do with the fact that her name is very similar to yours, I wonder?? :D lol

lol - did you see some of the Semi finalists names? There was an Annalee, Annaliese, and Anya! How weird is that? No, her acting skills are wonderful - I loved watching her portray the aggravation, disappointment, and irritation into the "emotional" scene. I think the writers did a good job in writing that script because it had conflict.
BTW, do you happen to know if your sister ever got my letter? I'm not sure if I sent it or not. red face

That's so cool! I remember the one about the cow in the phone booth!! :) I remember reading it and my little brother was like 'haha that so funny!' Lol :)

@SBG - I told the cow-in-the-telephone-booth joke to someone at church who loves jokes - he thought it was really funny! :)
