College!

I'm planning on attending Liberty University!! This topic is to discuss What colleges are you all thinking about? What would be your preferred degree of choice? If you think college is necessary for Christians? And if you think college is better from a campus or long distance?

Wow this is so neat!! I have a good friend who is going to Liberty in the fall, what are you going to be studying?

Great topic BTW!!! Personally I think college isn't necessarily necessary, but if it does happen, I think it should be as close to home as possible!

Hey, Currently I am doing long distance learning from my home through Thomas Edison State College. I should be done in May. My preferred degree is a Master of Divinity but first I am getting my Bachellors of Accounting.
For the last two questions, I feel that it should be the leading of the Lord, its different for each person.

I am planning on attending Patrick Henry College in Virginia. It is very close to D.C. and it specializes in preparing young adults to serve in law or government capacities. I really want to join the State Department's Foreign Service Program when I graduate, so I am excited to see how the Lord will work through my college experience. :)

So… We could see Jimmy running for president in the near future? Lol jk! :)

Have you heard of College Plus?

Josh is too busy with real life for Memverse:) But he did quote a memory verse for scripture memory time at church, last month, so I'll mention it to him:) you never know;)

I still can't take that picture seriously. Lol I just want to break out laughing whenever I look at it. Lol

I think I'm going to get my degree online. (without CollegePlus! :P) We'll see how it goes.

I know a friend who has considered going, but I don't think she'll go. And as for my age, I'm 18 years old.

You should consider going to Liberty. It's the number one Christian College in America (and the biggest).

I have heard of College Plus and it's not good enough for what I will be studying.

I have several friends who have done Thomas Edison without College Plus, so that's a good choice:)

My brother should be done in October with his music degree, so I'm hoping he can be my coach. :)

I had my first (and probably only) tour of a prospective college today- Patrick Henry College. Their music program sounds amazing!

I know that question was kind of a long time ago, but I finished my 4 year degree online over a year ago.
