One that I memorized for Bible Bee Nationals was really encouraging. Psalm 13:5-6, "But I have trusted in your steadfast love, my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me." It was very encouraging to me when I did not make it to semi-finals because I knew that the Lord deals bountifully with me all the time.

Psalm 73:25-26 is probably my life verse because it means so much to me. "Whom have I in heaven but You, and besides You I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." This passage really means more and more to me each day, as I apply it to life in really any situation.

I also really like Matthew 28:30b - "And lo I am with you always to the end of the earth."

2 Corinthians 5:17

Those are all beautiful verses!

One passage I have recently come to love is Romans 11:33-36:

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

God's Maiden of Virtue

"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 3:12,14

My favorite passage is a very encouraging one:

1 Timothy 1:15-16–
"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life."

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Phil 4:19-20

2 Corinthians 5:17

One verse I really love is Zephaniah 3:17:
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

God's Maiden of Virtue

I really like that one too, Rachel. Here is one that I memorized recently:
"Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger." ~Zephaniah 2:3

These verses are all great!

"All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, and shall glorify Thy name. For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone. Teach me Thy way; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear Thy name. I will praise Thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Thy name forevermore." Psalm 86:9-12

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8

2 Corinthians 5:17

"And ye shall seek Me and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." _Jeremiah 29:13_

Rachel the Alaskan

These are my two favorite verses:

Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God.

1.Job 1:21
And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
