Fundraiser

Does anyone have any ideas for fundraiser/money earning for a $1,000 dollar bike I need by April? As you see by my name and pic I am an avid cyclist and already have cleaned my parents out of jobs. I also pet sit almost every day. Thanks.

If you play an instrument …give lessons
If you have little sibs ..offer to homeschool them for five or ten bucks a week…
That's what I do .

You could go to neighbors and see if they have some jobs you could do for them that they would pay for…
If you could work it out with your parents, maybe you could work and see how much money you could get by the time you would need to buy it, and then borrow the rest of the money from them, and just pay it off as you can.

do you bake? Maybe you could make some baked goods and sell them to friends…maybe your dad could take them to work. when I was 11 I baked bread and such and had even took it to some restaurants! But we kind of stopped it because I was a bit young to do all the baking AND clean up … :)

If you play a portable instrument (violin, flute, recorder, etc), do some busking! Find a busy (but not too noisy) street, or somewhere where people are likely to have loose change (shops, atm), wear your oldest clothes (I have a friend who wears his worst jeans to busk :D) and smile at every person that walks by :) If you have a very cute little sister or brother who can play with you helps enormously. Also, get a pet monkey or something to hold the bucket for you :P! (holiday season and festivals are best time to busk)

Lol all you like! I'm serious :D You can earn a lot of money busking. Sometimes though, you barely earn anything at all.

Yeah! Though normally we will be like let's go busking at wherever, and then when we get there we'll be like maybe not. :P you have to work up a lot of courage to start but after that its easier. I wrote some tips above that I found gets best results (I've never had a monkey though but I know there are people that do that) so many times people will be walking by and you smile at them and they come back and give you something :D

This won't help very much… but I get 10 or 12 dollars every year by entering things in the fair… and winning :)

My biggest haul from the fair was $160- I spent it on a violin :)
