I am in GenJ!! If you go look at the GenerationJoshua.org group on the Group Leaderboard, there's more GenJers on there. :) I think we have eight in the group right now.

Here is the official "Vision of Generation Joshua" (see http://www.generationjoshua.org/dnn/About/tabid/244/Default.aspx)

"The Vision of Generation Joshua is to assist parents to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders and citizens, equipped to positively influence the political processes of today and tomorrow."

My explanation of GenJ: Generation Joshua is a conservative, Christian organization (a division of the Home School Legal Defense Association) that seeks to encourage teens to get involved in politics. They do this through local GenJ clubs, summer camps, an awards program (up to $3000 in college scholarships!), teen tracks at homeschool conferences, and Student Action Teams, where GenJ pays for students to travel to help conservative candidates across the country. There are also online civics courses (free - and they can count as high school credit!), online forums and chat, contests, a book club, and more.

All in all it's a great organization and has really inspired me to become involved in my community. I was able to start a local club and we meet once a month to pray for our nation and discuss current events. I've also met some great teens through the GenJ forums/chat and we've been able to work together on a number of projects.

I hope that helps!

Cool! We had a special meeting today were we invited people to sit in on a meeting and then my dad gave a presentation on health care. It went well! Though I don't think we got any more members out of it though. :(

That's neat! We're going to watch "Our Sacred Honor" (a DVD that Sen. Rick Santorum made) at our next meeting at the end of this month. :)

Danielle, here is some info on "Our Sacred Honor". I haven't watched it yet but I've heard great things about it.

Our GenJ Club website: http://michiganpatriots.org/blog/oursacredhonor
Official Documentary Site: http://www.oursacredhonormovie.com/

If you want to get it for free to show to your club, you can get it through Patriot Voices (that's how we got it). When they contact you about time, etc, just mention that you are a Generation Joshua club and they will gladly send you one even if you aren't trying to start a "local chapter" of Patriot Voices.
