Some of this stuff is hilarious, but that isn't exactly the reverence God's Word deserves… Here's John 3:16-18 for an example.
“God wen get so plenny love an aloha fo da peopo inside da world, dat he wen send me, his one an ony Boy, so dat everybody dat trus me no get cut off from God, but get da real kine life dat stay to da max foeva. 17 You know, God neva send me, his Boy, inside da world fo punish da peopo. He wen send me fo take da peopo outa da bad kine stuff dey doing. 18 Whoeva stay trus me, God no goin punish dem. But whoeva no trus me, garans God goin punish dem, cuz dey neva trus me, God?s ony Boy.

I found out at this web page that Hawai'i Pidgin is actually a real language spoken by about 600,000 people as their native language. ("Pidgin" means a version of a base language. In this case, the base is English.) So maybe this Bible version isn't so funky after all.

I totally agree… we actually found the New Testament in pigeon at a book store…. it was terrible!

I know! It is quite strange, isn't it. :) Our family is in the military, and we recently moved from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. A LOT of the people there spoke pidgin. Most Hawaiians can speak perfect English, but it is sort of like "Ya'll" in the South. Slang is very common and frequent.
Anyway, I just thought it was interesting. :)
