Umm… you wouldn't? Wouldn't it be a great reminder of all the horrible sufferings Jesus had to undergo to save us? If he hadn't done that for us, it would have been US having to suffer through the Father's wrath! I think something like that is a great way to remind us of how much we owe our Lord. :)

I've never seen the passion but I saw a little video that a pastor showed us about how people seem to focus on his death so much more than his Resurrection and both are just as important.

I know, but as Danielle said, I aint got the stomach for that kinda gore. I have seen to other Mel Gibson movies (Mel Gibson, the producer of The Passion, The Patriot, Braveheart) and the violence in them (even though R rated) does not compare to the bloodshed in the Passion.

It just made me think of a blimeycow video. :) lol

Hmm… I think they are both equally important. They are both absolutely necessary–if He didn't die, He couldn't have paid for our sins, and if He wasn't raised, His death would have meant nothing!

I think that every movie that portrays Christ's death must also portray His resurrection, and vice versa. Without the one, you can't understand the other! I don't remember if The Passion shows the resurrection, but I'm pretty sure it does.

I love swimming…but I have never been in a swimming competition. Do you like swimming underwater or on top better?

Underwater is fun until you can't breathe anymore and you start to pass out and ur face turns a sickly purple color. :P :)
