The United States is still ahead by far, and honestly, I am happy for it to stay that way.

To be fair, it does have 14 times more members than the country immediately below it on the list (Canada).
It's literally been years since I checked the leaderboards. Apparently I'm carrying South Korea all by my lonesome now… X-P

That makes sense.
Well, it is number eight, so if you are, wow, you must have a lot of verses.

Keep up the great work, Random!! Our prayers are with you, that God may work through you to encourage others in your circle of friends to begin the journey to memorizing His Word on to their hearts and minds.
The time is honestly not far (in my belief) when significant persecution will arise again throughout the world (see Daniel 12:1-4; Matthew 24; and other chapters and verses in the gospels and in Revelation and Daniel). Many Christians will be deprived of their Bibles, but whoever has memorized hundreds of God's promises on their hearts, will have the written word of God in their minds–which no one can ever take away.
That would be my prayer for you, Random, and for you, Zak, and for everyone else actively using Memverse!!

As this world deteriorates, I see a greater turning to God, and I agree that will bring persecution; because the devil knows his time is short and as a roaring lion is seeking to devour. I pray that people will take seriously the times we're living in, will earnestly seek to know God and His Word, and to share the hope only He can give.
