That's pretty!!! :)Thank you! I chose it myself. Jk. Actually, my parents pray about names before they name their children. :)
:D That's really cool!

That's really pretty - I never knew what "Carissa" meant! ;)
Courtney M.
Does anyone here know what their name means?
Courtney - frequenting the King's court. ;D
And…I haven't figured out a good spiritual meaning for "Belle". :P
Daughter of the king
LOL!!
Jackson
Mine means "son of Jack". :P
SavedByGrace
"Nicolas" means "Conqueror of the peoples." And "Micaiah" means "Who is like the LORD?" WOOT!
Courtney M.
Hmm, I wonder what good spiritual meaning you can get out of that? :P
Daughter of the king
My Dad's name,(Nelson,)Means son of Neil.LOL!!
Don't mean to interrupt the conversation :P but isn't this thread supposed to be for MIDDLE names?
Jedidiah Diligence Breckinridge III
Trust me, Madi is FAR to preoccupied with * cough * other things to worry about whether her thread is being derailed.
God's Maiden of Virtue
Does anyone here know what their name means?
Rosamond: Guardian of truth
Rosie: A rose
^I haven't figured out what my middle name means yet :P^

Where did you find that first meaning? Because historically…
(Maybe parallel how the meaning of my name changed??)
@Amara: Grace. It's on the first page of your introduction thread. :P
Courtney M.
That's pretty! I'm not sure what spiritual meaning I can get out of "Belle" either. :P

Mine didn't change, I just found my full name in a baby names book once, and it had the meaning as well as a spiritual meaning.
^How did the meaning of your name change?^

Yeah, but I think most "spiritual meanings" were just made up (and perhaps loosely based on original meanings) by modern people. :) That's not a bad thing at all, but in the original meaning, the element rosa (from hros), has nothing to do with truth. :P
If you looked up my name, you'd probably find the "spiritual meaning", faithful. But etymologically, it probably rather comes from the Hebrew word for dog. Which can, "by euphemism", mean something really, really nasty. So… yeah. I do like modern meanings. Woof.

You sound too much like Christian and Nicolas…they like to tease me about the real meaning of my name. :P
InSoloChristo
I wasn't trying to tease you, just to be historically accurate… (I never even said the meaning, either.) Besides, I have it a lot worse than you, and I still go around translating "dog" into elvish.
Now go apologize to your brothers. (Poor things, they must feel so bad, now that you've compared me with them.)
Mommy's Helper
My first name Hannah means graceful (something that I am not) and my middle name Joy, it's kind of obvious what it means.
Yelena
So my middle is very long and so my parents made that name because it was a tradition in our Russian culture to have names after our dads name. So my middle name is Alexandrovna….. Yeah i know kinda weird. :) XD
Piece of Peace
My middle name is Rose. Which confuses some people.

@Yelena, that's actually pretty cool!xD
