If you've made a music video and put it on the internet, or have a favorite music video by someone else, post the links here and we can discuss them!

I didn't make this one, but I like to watch it in the morning after my personal devotions and my Memverse verse review. It puts me in a good mood for the day, even if someone else in my family wakes up grumpy.

It also helps that it's my favorite contemporary Christian song and has Narnia pictures in it!

Since Monday, I've been making music videos of my favorite Christian contemporary songs with Narnia pictures (of course!). So far I've made four:

Edmund and Aslan - Remind Me Who I Am
Peter - Courageous
Caspian - Praise You in the Storm
Lucy - Blessings

I'm going to make one for Susan and maybe one for Eustace next.

Wow Abi! Not that I'm any particular fan of Narnia or an avid lover of music videos, :P but that some of your favorite songs are my favorites, too! Praise You in This Storm and Courageous are #2 and #7, respectively, on my list of favorite contemporary Christian songs. Although, I have to say that I'm not very familiar with the names of the others you mentioned… I may have heard them before though…

EDIT: Hold on, is the one you called "Remind Me Who I Am" by Casting Crowns? If so, I think it's called "Who Am I" unless I'm thinking of something different than you are. Wow, you must really love Casting Crowns! I don't blame you, I do too. :D

LOVE Praise You in the Storm. That was the first Casting Crowns song I heard…so I really like it. :P No, I just really like it.. ;)
I love all those others too. (Except I don't know Remind Me Who I Am)

Casting Crowns is my favorite music group. LOL

My two favorite Christain contemporary songs are Praise You in the Storm and I Will Not Be Moved. IWNBM is more the story of my life (sort of) and RYITS is more reminding me what I should be doing. :-)

Really? Wow! You know, if I had to pick a favorite, Casting Crowns would probably be mine too! :D Matthew West would be a very close second. Though, I really hate picking favorites, there are so many good ones out there - Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, Britt Nicole, Tenth Avenue North, Lincoln Brewster, to name a few that I especially enjoy. :)

EDIT: Is "Blessings" perchance by SIdewalk Prophets? If so, I think I know the song you're talking about. (I'm not that literate on song titles or artists.)

I'm pretty sure "Blessings" was by Laura Story. But Sidewalk Prophets might have sung it a different time…are the lyrics in the refrain "What if your blessings come through raindrops, what if your healing comes through tears, what if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know you're near?"

EDIT: Oh, sheesh, now I have that song stuck in my head. But seriously, there can be worse earworms. Like "Schoolhouse Polka with Larry".

Oh hey, I know that song! I didn't think I did, but one day our pastor played it at church. I really liked it.

It was really hard to find songs for the Pevensie girls' slideshows, and I was up against a wall for Lucy until I realized, "Ah! Blessings! It's perfect!" :-)

I ended up cutting out the first half of the second verse, though, for two reasons:

1. I didn't have enough pictures. :-P
2. It didn't seem to fit…

I've never been able to figure out how to get the music on the video. :-/ So I finally just ended up putting a CD in at the same time and then turning it off real fast when the slide show was over :P :P

I use Windows Movie Maker, and I download the songs.

That's what I have too :-/ I didn't experiment enough though…

It took me about a week to figure it out. :-P

And another 2 weeks to perfect my using it. :-)
But it's not, like, constantly trying and experimenting. Maybe half an hour a day, probably.

Yeah…I was just really excited that that program was on here :P I spent most of my time trying to figure out the different ways to change to another picture and just a tiny bit on how to add music.

In order to add variety (you wouldn't believe how long I took to find this out; months, probably) transitions, zoom, and fading make your videos look more "professional".

Yeah, it took me sooo long to add all that. After a while, I was just like "I really don't care just as long as it's different from the one before it!!" :D

It takes me a couple hours to make one slideshow. And they take 10-15 minutes to save!

I never made one all together. I added a few pictures, and then later a few more, and then some different effects and stuff. So it took a really long time to do it all. Hm, I have a whole bunch I need to make, I've only done two, I think. Only one for real.

I've made one for every one of my family members, and one for each Narnian main character good guy (besides Aslan, because he made it into all the others).

Neeeat… I made one of our rabbits (because we were supposed to for some reason) and one of D.C. I think….that I never quite finished.

I've been working on one of the first battle of Beruna, with "To Aslan's Camp" for the song.

I found a really high-quality video of it on Youtube and took about 80 screenshots of it to make the slideshow! But I haven't finished it…yet! :-)

Hey, I have an idea! I could meet you guys at Bible Bee Nationals and I could show them to you on a laptop! (Hope, hope, hope, hope, hope!)

I should write it in on the calendar as a little hint for my parents! Something like, "Meet Corin (Emily) at BB Nationals in TN". Hmm…I really should do that! :-)

Yeah…hmm…if I find out that I can go, you'd qualify for me, wouldn't you? angelic smile LOL Yeah, you'd try to qualify, anyway. But I should do some "vicious" campaigning around here…it's worked once or twice before…constantly dropping hints and asking about once a day, "Hey, Mom?…".

=D That would be so sad if I found out you could go but I couldn't! :P

Yeah!!! It either takes us 8 hours or 16 hours to get to Phoenix. I think 8 sounds more like it, but we used to drive half way a lot, to meet up with my sister, so I kind of forgot :P
