My cat, Sprinkie, made me think of this one. She seems to like classical music, but enjoys singing more. I've heard of pets having some really funny reactions to music.

If I open my case, she likes to run over and play in it and chew the tip of my bow. (not literally, don't tell the conductor)

This made me wonder- who else has pets with cute/hilarious reactions to music?

Yep, I just sit there and eat whatever you feed me, Jk jk. My cat sits underneath the piano now whenever I try to play.

That is a good goal. Are you practicing any specific songs right now? Currently I am working on Canon in D.

My current go-to practice song is a hymn arrangement of Be Thou My Vision. But I also will pull out a hymnal and play through it.

Yes, it is. One of my favorite songs on the piano is Oceans. I have learned it perfectly, so I can actually pay attention to the words of the song.

You said that Be thou my Vision Is one of your favorites, but do you have one favorite above all the others?

Picking a favorite song is the hardest thing for me. But You Raise Me Up is one of the songs that has been on my favorites list for the longest.

So, does anyone else's pets have favorite composers? My cat used to like Vivaldi, which is my favorite, btw, but now she only likes Bach.
