Questions from new Memverse users

Hi,
I just joined Memverse about a month ago, and have had some questions about how to use Memverse, the quizzes, etc. Some of these I've asked, others just figured out, and then there's a few things that I'm still wondering about. Hopefully, some experienced Memverse users will stop by here every now and then, and answers us newbies' questions.

I was wondering how the picture thing works. I would like to change my picture (obviously! :)), but I wasn't sure if it would have that picture on other websites. So, for example, if someone commented on a blog (we share email addresses), would it pop up with some picture of me, or would it just keep our blogger picture.

If the blog uses Gravadar, yes, I think It would have the same picture. but If it did you would already have a picture here.

You could make your Gravadar picture something generic and find out. Then if gravadar doesn't change your blogger picture you change it to one of you.

How do you put a picture in your post? I've noticed that some people do that, but haven't figured it out yet…

Try putting exclamation points around the link with no spaces. :)

How many of you knew that you could click on the link under "Latest" to get to the last page of a topic in just one click, instead of going to the topic and then clicking "Last"??

Hi, I have a question. I've been getting emails every time someone replies to something I post on here, and I tried to unsubscribe to the emails, but it gave me an error message. Is there any other way to stop the emails?

Do you see the "Reply" button in the upper left hand corner of every forum topic? There is also a "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe" button. If you are getting emails from a topic, the button will read "Unsubscribe" and you should click it. Then is should say "Subscribe", and you'll stop receiving the emails. If that made a lick of sense… :P Hope it helps =)

How long do quiz questions usually take to be approved?

Depends. I have had questions from the Bible Bee that have never been approved. The last question I put in was about a month ago and it's not approved either. :\ On the bright side, I do have a few questions that are approved, so at least some of them make it through. :)

I was wondering the same thing! I've had quiz questions pending for more than three months now (and I've never had any approved).

I think Andy said they are behind in approving questions. I have entered several a couple months ago and they haven't been approved yet. :(

I don't think anyone has been reviewing submitted questions for quite a while. I actually emailed Alex volunteering to help (yes, I know, I wouldn't be able to -win- I mean take the quizzes anymore), and he hasn't responded. Maybe he's on vacation. Or I somehow got the wrong email. :P

EDIT: Just checked the "Community Discussions" (on GetSatisfaction), and the developers seem to be missing from there, also. Leave them alone, they'll come home.

I'm having some difficulty adding verses. I go to search for the verses I want but they don't show up for me to add them. Any ideas what might be the problem? :/

They probably haven't been added in your translation. You need to add them yourself by copying and pasting if you want to memorize them.

Can you change your password?

I dunno. Post the password you have now and we can show you how to make it more secure. :)
