Rewind-plays!!!!!

This forum is for people who want to post & chat about REWIND-PLAYS!!!!!! A rewind-play is where you play a short part of a video over and over to make it sound really funny. You can do it by pressing the "rewind" button and then the "play" button on a remote control (clicker) really fast; or you can use the "repeat" button to make it automatically go back and forth. Sometimes you can change what people say to make them say something really funny.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!! Maybe you should show that to the Chinese government if you get arrested on a missions trip to China. In Fireproof, a few minutes ago we were doing the rewind-play "Leave your partner especially in a fire." :D In the special rewind-play you can leave out the part where he says "You never".

It's my birthday tomorrow and we are going to do plenty of rewind-plays.

In the Narnia movie "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" my brothers think it's hilarious (and I think it's annoying) to do this during the coronation scene. Aslan says "To the shining eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the valiant" and they just repeat "to the shining easten sea" a dozen or so times. They do it with the other three, too ("To the great western wood" for Edmund, "To the radiant southern sun" for Susan, and "To the clear northern sky" for Peter) but Lucy is their favorite. :-P It takes them almost 10 minutes to get through that 30-second segment!
I like doing the rewind-play thing more when I'm trying to catch everything going on in a fast-moving scene like a battle, rather than trying to make a line sound weird. For example, I found a faun doing a "dance" and Edmund dropping his sword in the Narnian battle.

There's a rewind-play in swamp man that goes like this: "Looking at the gators and making them bite my skin!" ("Swat'in those skeeters that bite my skin, looking at the gators and making them grin.")

Sometime I'd like to take a tape recorder and sit down with it, then watch a movie and make the WEIRDEST lines.

Do you do it on DVDs or VHS?

I always whatch movies on DVD. I hope we can get a blue-ray player soon though.

Can Blu-Ray players play DVDs as well as Blu-Ray Discs?

Yup!! Pretty soon they will try and get rid of DVDs I bet and just have blue-ray which stinks cause it's so expensive!!!! :)

What exactly is a blue ray?

It's sorta like a DVD, but it supposedly is better quality or something. I've never used one myself, but from what I've heard, it's not much better. If not worse. :P

One of my sisters used to do that lots. She even made a cd comparing most of the BBC audio, FOTF audio, BBC video, and Walden Media video of LWW and then made a cd comparing them. :D It is hilarious. rofl

We've got a laptop with blue-ray. But the screen is so small it doesn't make a difference! You will need a pretty big screen to see much of a difference at all. But really, you should see BD menus. They are usually really awesome! =)

A BD menu = the title menu of a Blue-ray Disc.
BBC audio, FOTF audio, BBC video, and Walden Media video of LWW = BBC made an audio drama and movie, Walden Media/Disney made a movie, and Focus on the Family/Radio Theatre made an audio drama OF The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. :D

We do rewind-plays on DVDs. There's a hilarious rewind-play in Episode 28 of Way of the Master where you can make a false preacher say "The law was in the Old Testament, and we are nuts, people" over and over again. :) This is what he was really saying: "I have heard people talk about the Ten Commandments when preaching the gospel. What? Oh that is just [A-] nuts, people. The law was in the Old Testament, and we are [-B] of the New Testament." LOL :)

We just found a rewind-play in the "Into the Amazon" video from Vision Forum disc #2 that goes like this: "Run into a hungry-30 ft. anaconda in the wild." :D

We are doing rewind plays now!!!!!!!! They are so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we are doing one that goes like this: "Be an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a movie series called "Mr. Henry" with the best rewind-plays ever. For example, in episode 2-courage, Mr. Henry (Frank Peretti) just finished a card game with to House of Shh (the enemies of rewind-play people) spies dressed in monster costumes, and we made him say, "Sweeping? Uhh. Dusting? Heh." to the spies, and then to the audience, "Eh, while their doing that I think it'd be a good idea ehhhh ahhh ahhhh!" [An alarm sounded. The House of Shh spies are thrown to the ground. Mr. Henry flies backward with only four fingers on one hand and two on the other; his eyes turn completely white. For part of the time, he has three eyes.] I got this from a Microsoft Word folder on our computer. hahahahahahahahaharoflrofllololol ::::::::::::::))))))))))
