On this Thread we are making a new rule to follow, for the peace and safety of us all:
Extensive Quoting – You are only permitted to quote to the second “backquote”.

This Social Chat will, Lord willing, be going to 1,000,000,000,000,000 pages and beyond!

No, we're doing 1,000 pages. Like the last one. This will not be a "unlimited SC".

And, I'm gonna quote as many times as I want to. It makes it easier to keep a chain of thought going when you're chatting with someone.

Depends on the purpose of these "rules". These are unnecessary, and don't really benefit anyone.

Against unnecessary rules. I pride myself on not abiding illogicality. Unnecessary rules like "limits on quoting" that really don't have a good reason behind them are illogical. If there were users who would often use inappropriate phrases, rules against such a thing would be merited, and I would help to enforce them. There are good reasons for those kinds of rules. A "quoting rule" has no such reasons.
