(Golly, now part of me is really curious as to what the people who joined in the last couple of years think of the forums…)

What happened to all the oldies? It seems like there are only a handful of us left. I guess they must've gotten lives or something.

I'm supposed to have a life and be studying and stuff, but I also don't want to lose touch with my old friends!

@"Christa M. the Narnian Time Lord" : All of Tolkien's works (that I've read so far; especially LotR and the Silmarillion), Narnia, How to Train Your Dragon, Sherlock Holmes (the original serial stories), Beowulf, King Arthur, some superhero stuff, Ninjago, and some others that I can't remember at the moment because it's 3 a.m. here in Korea. X-P I'll think of them tomorrow, I'm sure.

Didn't know Beowulf had a "fandom". Where do you sign up? :P Also do they read it in Anglo-Saxon, or are they English-speaking plebs?

@InSoloChristo : LOL It's pretty empty in here…probably too empty to qualify as an actual "fandom". I read it when I was 11 and got hooked. (I read an English translation, obviously…I didn't know Old English at age 11!!)

Well you know what they say: two is company, three's a fandom!
And I confess I've never actually read it in Old English either, though I've studied it a little bit. :P Something about alliterative rather than rhyming poetry just really fascinates me.
