What would be more effective in a zombie apocalypse: an army, or a squadron of exo-suits?

Depends on the training and supplies.
They may have all the finest equipment in the world but if they suck at using it or the stuff (like gunpowder) runs out. both are useless.

In my opinion an army of well trained swordsmen would be ideal.
