Social Chatting - January 2015!

We're finding that out. xP Yes, Brianna has been wanting rabbits for several months, and then on her birthday she was going to the store to find some, but when she and my mom got there they were already closed. So they went back home and found a couple of rabbits that were abandoned on Craigslist, and we didn't even have to pay! :)

Amy made the crust and I put all the stuff on. And then Amy made the pepperoni/black olive pizza, cause that's the kind most of our family likes. xP But yes, I would normally make the crust.

Oh, okay. Ben is the pizza person at our house. We used to have pizza every Saturday, and he would make the crusts, Joel would usually make the cheese (when we had lots of extra milk) and we usually make our own sauce (once or twice a year during tomato season, when we can get a 7-gallon bucket for $3). But we don't have a working oven yet in the new house, so that doesn't really happen anymore. :)

Cool! That's really neat. xD Though, I think the process would take a LOT longer that way, though I'm sure it's fun!

See above. x) Oh, and do you have to spay/neuter rabbits if you want to keep them together?? Something I've been meaning to ask you for -ages- a long time!!

You know, we've always kept our rabbits separate, even if they were both the same gender because they'll fight. :P But you'd have to do something or else you'd have like a ton of rabbits.

Ah, okay. Lol, I can imagine. :P We have two juvenile females, and although they're good for most of the time when we're around, I think the big one intimidates the little one and bullies her when we're asleep or when they're outside. I've heard a squeal a couple of times and the little one has a few scars. :\ We do have two cages, but we try not to keep them outside when it's cold...

Okay. And you know they're fully mature at 6 mo, right? Aw, yeah. :( Do you have anyway you can divide the cage? Our cages came with a sheet of metal that you could wire halfway between, but I don't know if that would work depending on what kind of set up you have...

I don't know that much about rabbits, but we didn't know exactly how old they were anyways - see above. We might be able divide the cage but it's already rather small for both of them; what we really need is a new cage, I think.

No, but I wouldn't know what it meant if I did. :P They do seem to be fairly well-bred though. They're white with grey or tan markings and shed quite a lot. :P

That's probably true… We've never done that though.
Aaand, I don't know if Brianna already knows this, but rabbits have a lot harder time in the heat than in cold. When it gets 90-100 or so we'll usually freeze water bottles and put them in with the rabbits. Also if they get sick they pretty much just die…so you're kinda supposed to be careful with what they eat and stuff, we've always been told not to ever ever give them lettuce, but we know lots of people who do and have never had a problem, so… They shouldn't get wet. But if you're having a big shedding problem, you can get your hand slightly damp and pet them to pull out the extra fur.

That's probably true... We've never done that though. Aaand, I don't know if Brianna already knows this, but rabbits have a lot harder time in the heat than in cold. When it gets 90-100 or so we'll usually freeze water bottles and put them in with the rabbits. Also if they get sick they pretty much just die...so you're kinda supposed to be careful with what they eat and stuff, we've always been told not to ever ever give them lettuce, but we know lots of people who do and have never had a problem, so... They shouldn't get wet. But if you're having a big shedding problem, you can get your hand slightly damp and pet them to pull out the extra fur.

Okay. :) jsyk, other people have said they don't do the water bottle thing with their rabbits because their fur will get dark marks, or something, but we've never noticed a problem and we aren't showing our rabbits. :P:)
My mom knows a lot about rabbits…they had zillions of rabbits growing up. xP
