That would be a good contrast to my current list, which is more like Democracy In America (Tocqueville) Paradise Lost (Milton) The Age of Reason (Paine) The Art of War (Sun Tzu) The Divine Comedy (Dante) The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (Gibbons) Thucydides' Histories Polybius' Histories The Lives of the Twelve Ceasers (Seutonius) The Origin of Species (Darwin) The Social Contract (Rousseau) Aristotle's Republic The Illiad and the Odyssey (Homer) The War of the Jews (Josephus) And there's a bunch more...and quite a few Greek plays I want to watch/listen to. Now... why in the world do you have the Brotherband Chronicles on there but not Ranger's Apprentice!?!

I've read The Illiad and Odyssey. both were interesting. Right now I'm reading George Silver's Paradoxes of Defence.

I'm supposed to be a Greek history person and still haven't read Homer…yeah.

It was work on the Renaissance fighting styles, he was apparently tired of all the unbeatable fighting style.
