i'm not really sure why we have to have this course..i mean, I already know english. and as far as usefulness, what good will the knowledge of prepositions and clauses do me in the zambie apocalypse?

It isn't all the time. Usually when I'm updating or downloading, I lug it out to the living room and connect it via Ethernet, since it doesn't have a Wi-Fi card. I might be able to schedule a game with you, though. :)

Okay, Abby, I found it! Sorry I took so long!! Couldn't find it at first. :P This recipe is wayyy too complicated; I don't think you want to do that. But I found a really good recipe for Chocolate Truffle Cake, which looks a bit simpler. You will probably want help from your mom or a sibling though.
Here it is:

Serves 12

Ingredients:
12 ounces 70% cocoa bitter chocolate
2 sticks unsalted butter
6 large eggs, separated
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
6 Tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup ground almonds
1 quantity Glossy chocolate cream (I'll give the instructions for how to make this cream/frosting)
Few raspberries to decorate the top (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Fill a roasting pan with water and place this in the bottom of the oven as it heats up. Grease and line a 10 inch diameter, 2 inch deep, round cake pan. Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water. Cut the butter into small cubes and add to the chocolate. Allow to melt, then remove the bowl from over the water and set aside to cool for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a clean bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until thick, pale, and creamy. In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the whisked egg yolks and sugar. Add the orange juice and vanilla extract. Sift in the flour and ad the ground almonds and whisked egg whites. Carefully fold the ingredients together until well mixed, taking care not to beat too much air out of the mixture. Transfer to the prepared cake pan, smooth the top and bake in the center of the oven for 50-55 minutes or until just firm to the touch. Allow to cool in pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes, before removing from the pan and placing back on the wire rack to cool completely.
To serve, spread the Glossy chocolate cream thickly and evenly over the top and sides of the cake.

Here is how to make the Glossy chocolate cream -
7 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, broken into pieces
1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature

Place the chocolate pieces in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and allow to melt. Remove from the water and set aside to cool until slightly warm - about 30 minutes, maybe.
Then while whisking the chocolate, gradually pour in the cream, whisking until thickly whipped and glossy. The mixture will then be ready for spreading. Once it is chilled, the mixture begins to set firm, so don't make this mixture until you've baked the cake.

strongly disagrees lots a cool stuff happened in history! You can learn from other peoples mistakes (like the Yalta Conference) and you can glean the good ideas that worked.
“Talk softly and carry a big stick.” tell me that wont work in the Apocalypses! Its from Theodore Roosevelt.

And how could we remember history without a written language?

1. No they didn't do just fine. their stories got twisted and distorted, like a picture that has been re-uploaded numerous times (like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icruGcSsPp0 ). the story of Noah's ark is a good example.
2. And what do you think sound files consist of? and even so they take electricity either in the form of wall power (AC) or battery's (DC), both of which would be either scarce or non-existent if most of our city's were wiped out.
