If you don't know who Bruce Jenner is, and what he made the headlines for a couple weeks ago, you won't get it. =/ (And maybe it's better that you don't know… xP )
Hannah Hope
No I don't know who he is, and I haven't read the newspaper for about 3 and a 1/2 years… :P So no, I wouldn't know about that. :D
(Why?)
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Yeah. Those who get it, enjoy it. Those who don't get it, you don't wanna know!
Roy Phillips
So what are you all doing? I was just enjoying some poetry for the second time in my life.
2 Corinthians 5:17
In this instance, innocence is bliss. If you really do want to know, ask your parents, as I don't want to tell you, sorry.

I would assume that. :D I meant methods of studying. :D
2 Corinthians 5:17
Oh my…how am I expected to answer that question in a comment? xP xP Lol…these first three weeks I've been working on getting very familiar with Jn 1-6…memorizing it, outlining the passage and details about it, reading commentaries, etc. :) Once the Study Guide comes out, that will be very helpful in your studying as a first time BB-er. :) Just make sure you know the jn 1-6 and the SG inside and out. ;) I will also be taking the practice tests that come out later in the BB season. SO helpful! ;) Be diligent in your studies, but take breaks, so your mind is fresh. ;) Pray for wisdom, as you can't study correctly without Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:17
As for everyone, this year is different, because of the switch in curriculum, so we all be learning how to study again, somewhat. xP x) But still the basics remain - understanding the study passage…both big picture and small details.

Ok!! Thanks, I have been a little hectic in my studying before this week, cuz I didn't really know how I was supposed to study ^if I was supposed to know about all the places and names mentioned, etc.^ but I think I'm finally figuring it out. Sorta. :P

I really like Adam Clarke- and his commentary can be found here:
http://www.studylight.org/commentaries/acc/
Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown's commentary is also good:
https://www.blueletterbible.org/commentaries/jfb/
I also like J. V. Mcgee, but his text commentaries aren't online. The audios are though:
https://www.blueletterbible.org/audio_video/mcgee_j_vernon/
You will find cross references as you read commentaries and other things, but a good CR source is the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge:
http://www.studylight.org/commentaries/tsk/
I think that's a good start :D

Yes, knowing about the characters is excellent :) I also made an outline of all the places and times when the people in Jn 1-6 went places. xD

It rarely interests me, and its boring, and its long, and hard to understand, and -makes you want to kill yourself,- and so on… But THIS Poetry was translated form German longsword manuscipt. And It actually makes sense!
Edit: the psalms are an exception. but they were also translated into English.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Toodles, I need to go now. Bye Hannah! Happy studying! :D hug

Ok!!! I gotta read it, and actually understand it, cuz I wanna take a CLEP test on literature. :D If you spend enough time thinking it out, and take the words apart, it's reasonably easy to understand, but I rarely read it unless I have to for school. :D What kind of books do you like reading?
2 Corinthians 5:17
hops on real quick One thing more: I'd really recommend getting an account on Quizlet and joining some of the BB groups on there…people add AWESOME study resources :D hop off xD xP

then scroll down to treatise and then click [show] in the bar that says longsword
Its about 80 lines.
Yeah I've basically avoid poetry. I haven't read many modern books but I like Sherlock Holmes. and recently I've been studying these medieval/Renaissance Fuchbuchers (fight books) I found online.
Hannah Hope
It's loading. :D Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorites. :D Ok!!!
Roy Phillips
The Valley of Fear was one of the best (and longest).
Hannah Hope
What was that one about? ^I don't really look at the titles of the chapter… I just read the chapter… :D^
Roy Phillips
It's actually a nice thick book all by itself.
gtg now See ya later.
