We're just taking a break in between going to church. :)

Well, she did better last night, but still needs lots of prayer, and so do our grandparents taking care of her - they're very tired and have been sick too.

I'll be praying for them! Does she live in TX near your family?

Yes - she's been living with our grandparents for a while, and they are about half an hour away.

Oh, that's nice! I also have one remaining great-grandparent: she's 94, but lives in CO. So the last time I saw her was in 2012. :(

Ah, okay. Do you know her very well? This is the only great-grandparent I've really known, although I did know another one to a lesser extent several years ago.

I sort of know her, yes. :) I mean, not in a real deep way, but we are good friends, if that makes sense. x) Her health is getting worse, though, as is her memory. So when I talked with her on the phone the other night, she asked how my baby was doing, thinking I was my Mom. xP x) My grandma, who lives with us, is going out to visit her on Monday.

Okay. Sure, that makes sense. :) It's kind of sad to see our grandparents grow old and frail, but it really makes me look forward to the day when we will all be given a new body!

Yep. XD Hey, my brain is still so full of Ezekiel 31 and Zechariah 12 and confusing passages in John that you can't blame me for losing track of little things like when the chat ends! That information just kind of falls out! :P :D

Um… that is so two years ago. If you can still quote those passages, that's better than a lot of us can say! But that doesn't mean your brain is even close to out of memory space. xD

Haha, I actually can't quote those passages. XD Ezekiel 31 and the John passages are ones that I went over and over countless times (it seemed) and Zechariah 12 is a sore spot for me, since I had to pass it at 2014 Nats.

Hehe, didn't think so. ;P That was such a crazy year (as far as memory verses). I know!! I have those kinds of passages too - the ones I'll never forget and will always remind me of Bible Bee. xD Especially the ones I messed up on. xP

It was a crazy year, but looking back, I love the minor prophets. I felt like I learned about a whole new part of God's character that I'd never really thought that much about before. Isn't it weird how you always see things differently looking back?! :P

I agree! It was great to study Jonah and Nahum and all the rest of the prophets, I knew next to nothing about them before that. Haha, yep! That's because you have a new perspective and one closer to what God's is than what you had when you were in the thick of it. x)

Yeah, Mrs. McMahan did an excellent job with Jonah. She always does, but Jonah was especially good. She took a story that I've been hearing all of my life (and, to be completely honest, was a little bit bored by it) and made it new and interesting. I learned a lot. I really miss the Sword Studies. Haha, I guess so. :D

Know what you mean about being bored by it! But now, I'll never look at that story the same way again! :D
