Suggestion for Memverse: Reference Review

I'm not sure that this is the correct place to post a suggestion to the MemVerse maintainers, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I have a suggestion for what I would call a "minor improvement".

When I'm doing reference review, I dislike how long it takes until the appropriate book is suggested at the top of the list. For example, if I know it's Ephesians and I hit "E", memverse lists almost every book of the Bible starting at Genesis. Even after I enter "Eph" it still gives me Zephaniah and Ephesians.

I understand why this happens, since "eph" is a part of zephaniah. And if I enter "H" for Hebrews, (the only book beginning with H), it lists every book that contains an "H".

Again, I understand, but I suggest this improvement - if a book starts with the letters already entered, make it be listed at the top of the list.

That way lazy people like me can just enter one or two letters, then arrow down to the correct book and be ready to start entering the numbers.

Just a suggestion, thanks already for the wonderful website. I've been using it since 2010, and greatly appreciate it.

I like your idea! The administrators don't check on here that often, so a better place to post your idea would be under the black "Feedback" tab that should be about a third of the way down on the right side of your screen. Everyone who runs Memverse are volunteering their time, so they aren't always able to get back right away. I think you can subscribe to get email updates when something is posted on your thread, but you can also find your topic again on the Home page under the Community Tab, or under Help – FAQ on the top bar.
I've been on here since 2011, and it has been a huge blessing in memorizing and retaining Scripture. I'm glad you're finding it useful as well!
