Zach, we are the same age for two months! You don't have that much of an advantage over me!Zach, we are the same age for more than nine months!
But 3 months we aren't!
Keirstin
Zach, 27 more days does not give you an advantage over the new century people!
ZachB
Says who? ^Ya know, you're arguing with an ENTP Debater…^
Keirstin
Says you! Your making your point based on your facts and what you think is true
Keirstin

Was I arguing? Really? That doesn't happen very often! ~at least not in person~
ZachB
I say it does! ^You're still trying to argue with an ENTP Debater^
Keirstin
Fine. You win! I'm going to stick with having nice conversations with people as long they are not terribly wrong.( which I think you are) Plus- I like getting teased by a big " brother" since I don't have one! So continue!
ZachB
Me? Wrong? Nah, never! ~Just kidding! (had to throw that in there to make sure I was telling the truth! xP)~
Keirstin
Your humility never ends
ZachB
I'm glad somebody finally noticed!
Keirstin
Yep! I'd like to see you debate someone in person! Lol
That probaly comes in handy when defending your faith though!
ZachB
You should have been a spectator in debate class last school year!
Keirstin
Why? Something crazy happen?
( I thought you are homeschooled?)
ZachB
I am, but I took a debate class on Fridays at the homeschool building.
Keirstin
Ah! That makes sense!

I thought they have vemon! Both my dad and several other people I know( along with Zach) have said that they do but there tiny fangs aren't big enough to grasp human flesh. That's just what I heard!
Well that's not what I saw on a news website, read across two Wikipedia pages, and heard in a video. According to all of those sources it's just an urban legend. They have no venom. There are hundreds of species across the world. Some are actually pretty scary looking, but nonetheless they are all harmless. :)
Keirstin
Ah! That makes sense!

When you're studying for an exam and your 5 year old brother comes up behind you and scares the breath out of you!
mysteryperson
Or when you spill your tea all over the keyboard and kill it….whoops…
Keirstin
Yikes! That doesn't sound very good! We're you able to fix it?
mysteryperson
Nope! I had to get a new keyboard…
Keirstin
Oh no! I want a keyboard so badly because I drive my family crazy with music all day! I would freak out if that happened! That's to bad!

Debate!! :D I did debate with my brother the past 2 years. What kind of debate are you doing?

…you find yourself one decision away from starting an intense theological debate in the middle of the library.
Backstory: As some of you may know (or have figured out by my username), about five months ago I sensed God calling me to finish school and then head to Utah as a long-term missionary to the Mormons. This morning, we were out running some errands, and Mom had me stop at the library and pick up some books for her, since her back was hurting pretty badly. While I was heading to the hold shelves, two men wearing white shirts, black pants, ties, and nametags caught my eye. As I got closer, I got a glimpse of one of the nametags, which read in part "Elder (name that I can't remember and probably shouldn't post anyway)". Yup, you guessed it– I was about three footsteps away from a team of Mormon missionaries. For a couple of minutes I was debating with myself whether I should introduce myself and share the gospel with them. I finally decided not to, partly because Mom was waiting with the car running, but mainly because I was scared to death; now that it's over, though, I really wish I had. :-)

Ahhh… That's to bad! A few years in karate class, I was having a conversation with a young man there. I asked him about what church he goes to and I told him I had never heard of the church and asked him what it believes in. He said in that church you can believe in anything.Perfect opportunity! why I changed the subject I don't know! I have asked forgiveness from God for not responding but I still kick myself to this day! I guess I was scared because I had gotten in trouble there for talking about God and I didn't want that happening again. I still feel bad about it and have vowed to never be shy about sharing the Gospel again!
To any of you who have the opportunity to share the gospel with someone, don't wait! I never had the chance to talk with that guy again! Would if I were the only one to share the gospel with him? God gave me the perfect opportunity, and I missed it.
Sarah
I know, right? Choosing not to talk to them was so hard because I've studied their scriptures, I've read every material on Mormonism (for and against it) that I've been able to get my hands on– I even have a list right here on my Nook of tips for witnessing to a Mormon. And yet, just because I was one shy fifteen-year-old against four missionaries equipped with every persuasive tool available, I completely blew it. Although I did tell my mom about the incident, and she said that next time she'll wait for me. So I really have no excuse now. :-)

Yes! There really is no excuse for not sharing except ones own selfishness of wanting to feel comfortable!

Amen to that!

I agree we should never let selfish or sinful reasons keep us from sharing the gospel, we have been commanded to tell others.
But we have to remember that when we witness to someone, maybe not clearly, or if we don't cause we're scared, they will still get saved if God wants them to be. He has chosen the preaching of believers to be the means of spreading the gospel to unbelievers, so we must obey when He leads us to. Not every situation is appropriate for everyone though, I think talking to a group of LDS missionarys would be rather intimidating, and I'm not fifteen anymore either. When the the Spirit is working in someones life, there probably won't be just one believer sent to share the gospel, He will keep on sending people to witness to them, and show them the way of salvation. Pray for those you know who are unsaved, and ask God to give you the opportunity to share the gospel with them.
Keirstin
I agree 100%! I understand that if God wants someone to share with them, he will lead a believer to do so. We as Christians need to "always be read to give an answer to every man that asketh of you the reason of the hope that is in you,"( 1 Peter 3:15) we also need to be obedient to God and listen when he does provide the opportunity to witness. There are a ton of LDS people were I live and I have gotten to talk with a couple of them and are praying for a few that I know.
Keirstin
You have have a habit of praying for people when you see a fire truck or ambulance so you start praying when you hear a fire truck a little ways away while you are out taking care of the animals. When the fire truck pulls up to your house, it is no surprise you start freaking out! Turns out it was some weird alarm that went off and the firefighters were very nice and showed the boys how it worked and every thing. I couldn't explain the worry I had in my heart when it pulled up and I didn't know if every one was ok or not though! It didn't help that my parents were out of town and you had a friend staying with you! I'm glad that's the only time we've had a fire truck out and I hope that it is the last! Turns out I was praying for us and didn't know it! Lol ;)

Wow! :) I always try to pray for the situation, whatever it is, when I hear a siren.

Yes, but God kept us safe and there was no need to be worried! ;)

…you have a hard time going to sleep. When you finally begin to fall asleep, you have a funny dream. When you try to smile, it wakes you up.
I did this three times the other day! Very aggravating and funny! :)
ZachB
Or when you are running in your sleep and you are thrashing your legs around and smack your head on the headboard!
Keirstin
Or when your so tired that you fall into bed without putting pajamas on. Or washing your face. Or brushing your teeth.
Keirstin
When your family is so tired because they were up at midnight the night before and your all sleeping in the same hotel room. Then in the morning, when you try to see what time it is, you push the wrong button, sending the radio blaring much to the disgust of the rest of the family because they didn't have to get up for another hour…. facepalm
I'll never live that one down….

ZachB
Yes but then I get in trouble for not picking fast enough. It really slowed me down today :(

Definitely.
