That Moment When...

Just your siblings are home and you start shouting at the top of your lungs.

When you get "eliminated" from Semi-Finals because of a mistake that you didn't mean to make, you'd never made before, that doesn't even make any sense in the context of the passage, and that in all truth came out that way just because of the way you speak. (This is not funny. I'm still trying to figure this one out.)

How sad! :( Joshua B. was also eliminated from that round, and his "mistake" was about as clear as yours. Hopefully, judging will be a bit smoother next year.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure Joshua B's mistake was in 1 Timothy 6:7-19 in verse 16 when he said "whom no man has seen" where it should be "whom no man hath seen".

I want to go back and check on Joshua's mistake. I already listened to your recitation again. Maybe I can do that this afternoon.

Okay peoples…so I went and listened to Joshua's recitation of 1 Timothy 6:7-19, and the only mistake I caught, was saying "one" instead of the correct word "man" in the phrase, "whom no *man* hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen." He did not skip a couple verses, but just said an incorrect word. I followed along using my memory verse cards, since we both use KJV.

We still aren't completely sure why Thomas was eliminated on Philippians 3:13-14. It sounds a bit like he said "I've" instead of "I have", but, as his big sister, I'm not so sure…

We didn't. It was too late to appeal by the time we thought of it. But God was sovereign over it, and He did what was best, so I guess we don't have to worry about it :).

Today at BSF, we were singing "Go Tell It on the Mountain", and one of the verses had the word "lo" with an exclamation mark after it: "lo!" That one looked even more like "lol". xD xP
