If we round his fathers hight off to six feet then the tall guy could easily be 12ft. Goliath was 9 foot. also the bible never says he was the tallest just the Philistine champion.

(I think that's the right term…) Like, modern history, that has suitable information and things to back it up. (Not that the Bible doesn't have suitable info of course… x) it does. My dad gave a fascinating message on this topic one time, but now i'm going on a rabbit trail. x) ) But "on record" is talking more recent times, usually.
