Another new guy

Greetings to the Memverse community! My name is Conlin, and I'm a high school senior with a hankering to be free. I have a driving permit, twelve swords, and an unhelathy obsession with writing and Scotland. I'm an American teen that desperately wants to build a cannon and a catapult.

My interests are wide and varied, but this about sums them up:
Action/Adventure/Fantasy movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Star Wars, a few Marvel films, THE PRINCESS BRIDE!!)
Scotland (my clan, the Jacobite Rebellion, Jacobites in general) [see, I said obsessed. I mentioned it twice.]
American History (all periods, basically)
Weapons (I'm an avid sword collector)
Guns
Explosives (hence my username) (literally everything from fireworks (and anything else 4th of July) to exploding target to straight gunpowder, lighting gasoline and oil, etc. KABOOM!)
Doing voices (movie character impressions, various accents mainly Scottish and Gollum)
Hunting (woodchucks, deer, turkey, small game)
Books (history books, historical fiction books, fantasy books, survival guides)
History (literally any history. I'm not as interested in the smaller European countries, or Asia, but every now and again I find myself reading about them.)
Writing (I'm a poet, and currently editing two books to see if I can get them published this year some time. And I've written waaaaay more than just two books.) [again, mentioned twice, it's an obsession]

Other stuff:
I love good jokes about the government, Tim Hawkins (the comedian), and plenty of other stuff I can't think of off the top of my head.
