Hey all, My name is Claire Oswalt and I am 15. I am part of the Bible Bee (we got our box yesterday), and I have been part of it since it started. I have been on memverse for a couple years now (2011?), and have been slowly but surely memorizing.
I was inactive for a long time last summer because of a really rough patch in my life. There was a lot of emotional pain and rebellion going on, and a lot of feelings got hurt. :( I am ashamed to say that almost all of what happened was my fault. I am a bit of a free spirit, and do not like how tight the rules were/still are at my house. I rebelled and did a lot of things I regret now. It was the toughest year of my entire life, bar none. Things are getting better ( I am back in contact with a friend that I lost during that period of time {he was involved in what went on} and things at home are settling down a bit.
The last four years have been a little difficult on my family. We adopted two kids (Zach and Morgan) and going from a family of four to a family of six (especially when the adopted two have very similar personalities to my blood-sister and I, so we tend to clash) was very straining. I have had a lot of trouble dealing with that, and it is hard to this day.
But like I said, things are looking up. I am almost done with school for the year (only two years left until I graduate!), and I am looking forward to the summer. After high school, I plan on going to college to get a major in journalism and a minor in music. I want to be a music journalist, reviewing albums and concerts and such. :)

I would listen to streaming music online!! That would be an awesome day! unfortunately, I have limited internet, so using all that video/audio time would drain our usage amount for the month. :)

I like to listen to music, garden, read, play with my homing pigeons (I have baby birds this year too!), and write.

I like the Redwall series. Otherwise, it's whatever is on my reading list for school. :)
I like pretty much all Christian music, but I am not a big "worship" music type of person. I like the more pop, dubstep, and heavy metal genres. Some of my favorite bands are:

I have done all of our gardening this year. I have everything planted except corn and Zucchini. I also have hot peppers and basil, but they are in pots, and the peppers are already planted. I have to do the basil.

I love my Pigeons. I don't think I could be happy without a pet. Surprisingly, they are very sweet and intelligent (contrary to popular belief, pigeons are one of the smartest birds on the planet. Why else would the Navy still use them to find people overboard in the ocean?)

My teen group in my homeschool group was having a teen night, and we were playing spoons. I am not actually in the picture; I was taking the picture. :) Kaitlyn V is in it though. :D

Hey, I like Redwall too! What's your favorite book? And, do you listen to Lindsey Stirling? She does dubstep, and she's really good!

I have only read the first three, but I like the second one the best. I love reading a book and then reading the prequel. I like to write, but that is one of the things I can't do. I write a story and I can't even finish it, let alone think of a preqel.

I have never even heard of Lindsey Stirling…… is she Christian? It is the only genre of music I am allowed to listen to. :)

Soooo…… I noticed a few of your Memverse names revolve around star wars….. is that a hobby of yours? (I LOVE star wars :D)

And yes, Star Wars is a hobby of mine! Incidentally, I haven't seen the movies in a while, I saw Episodes 1 and 2 a LONG time ago, like, when I was 7. I hope to get the DVDs and see them again soon. I love to read the comics and the Expanded Universe novels. Have you read any of them?

No, I haven't read any of the comics. I own episodes 1,2,4,5&6. I loved the animated series, star war: the clone wars. I have a couple lightsabers to mess around with, but not too much else. I used to have a few action figures, but not anymore (merry Christmas to my brother :D)

I think Ahsoka is my fav character in the Clone Wars! Who's yours?

@Sam- oh my gosh! I never told u :) my brothers and I have a bin of Star Wars action figures that is about 5 feet by 3 feet by 3feet full of Star Wars Action figures and their planes and the 'Jedi Battle Area' lol :) we had some good times with those toys. :)

I'm not big on action figures, even though I used to. Buying LEGO seems to be a better use of my money, since I get not only minifigs, but a vehicle or base, or whatever, that I can change however I want to. I still like action figures, but they get a bit expensive when you're trying to collect.

I like Ahsoka, but I really like Asajj Ventress. Her double lightsaber action is awesome!!

yeah, I always thought that would happen. But they have done a nice job making sure not to contradict the storyline of the original movies. I really appreciate that. :)

They look pretty much the same to me. They both have those weird-looking "head-tails." :P

I think I'd agree Togruta. Twi'lek are cool though! Twi'lek Sith are cool to see, but so far, I've never seen a Togruta Sith.
