I've signed up from Bible Bee sense '09, but only competed sense '10. I qualified in '11 and '12 and now I'm a Senior :( :P

I know! I'm nervous too! well, I think i'm ready. I know the memory verses really well, so I'm not nervous about the oral test, I'm just worried about the written test.

Not quite feeling ready :) I'm thankful for these few last weeks to study! Have you timed yourself saying the verses? Do you like the written or oral test better? :)

um, probably the oral test because I usually do really well on it. I don't like the written test at all :) which do you like better?

Yes, I was trying to talk really slow (I usually talk really fast:) and I said them all in 9 minutes. I was sure the timer was wrong. :)
I am SO nervous for orals, I don't know why. So I like written better…usually for the first few questions I'm nervous, but then I calm down.
Overall, do you like being a Senior or a Junior better?

do you memorize the cross-references in the Sword Study?

I was so happy, because last year I was really worried I'd run out of time sense they had such long passages.
Yeah, I need to trust God more!
So far, I like the Senior Sword Study better than the one for Juniors, but I definitely like the Junior shirt better! :P We'll see how the test goes…. sighs
I haven't memorized the cross-references previously, but this year I'm going to try to memorize them, not necessarily word perfect, but just the basic idea. Do you memorize them?

yes, I memorized them. I've still got some left though that I don't really feel like memorizing, but I suppose I will…

My Bible Bee studying is going great! How is your's going? What are you working on studying right now? I'm working on mastering all the CR, Key words in 1 John, memorizing the CR, and memorizing the book of 1 John.

Just do your best and leave the results up to God :)

Well, I've got most of my CR memorized, I just have a few left to study, and I know the Greek words. I just need to work on memorizing 1 John.

WOW! That's great! I don't have all the CR memorized :( I'm frantically trying to learn them though :) That's great that you know the Greek Words. I have them learned but I am now working on where they are found and how many times they are used through out the book. Yes, I have read several commentaries on 1 John. It is really helpful to read about. Are you a very good test taker?

Yeah, that's what I'm working on to, trying to memorize where the Greek words are found. I always get them mixed up :(

well, I'm totally fine taking the oral test for Bible Bee, but I'm not very good when it comes to the written test! I tend to panic because of the time, and then I can't think. :(

Generally, no, I'm not a good test taker. I have found some testing taking tips (thebiblebeehive.blogspot.com) so I posted them on my blog. I'm hoping that they will help me do better this year.
